Never ever have I gone to a gym where the staff and clients are so friendly. It's small and you…read morepretty much see the same people over and over, so there is a neighborhood vibe. Yes, people leave duffle bags on the floor but they're quick to move them if you ask nicely, so who cares. There are five free squat racks, so you never have to wait for one. While the space is small, their variety of weight lifting equipment is great. I've never really had to wait on any equipment, even during 5 o'clock rush hour. Yes, the equipment is dated but they keep everything clean and in working order. The bathrooms are always clean. I truly can't think of anything I would change. Except that the dumbbells are so old that you can no longer see the weight labels on them, which forces me to do math in my head, i.e. adding up the plates plus 5 lbs. for the handle. It's purely a weight lifting gym, with a few cardio machines. If you're looking for a sauna or massage chair, you're in the wrong place. If you're bothered by big dudes slamming barbells on the floor, you're in the wrong place. If you're bothered by patriotic flags honoring our military, you're in the wrong place. If you're bothered by motivational flags using the F word you're in the wrong place. If you're a germaphobe who brings a pristine white towel to the gym you're in the wrong place. Ashley G said it best "It's a no rules but respect kind of gym". A+

Very kind, friendly and welcoming good experience,./ pro gym for sure , thanks guysread more

I finally built up the courage to visit this studio for a Zumba class and my mind is a little fuzzy…read morein my after class exhaustion but that is a good thing. The establishment is located in a plaza that can get busy during peak evening hours, mainly, due to the daycare centers. My suggestion is to always turn right out of the plaza and go to the Parker Rd light during those times. It's less of a headache in the long run. Within the facility, there is an office or two, bathrooms, and a cubby area for belongings. The studio itself is nice. It's a medium-sized room with two walls occupied by full-length mirrors and a window respectively. It's comfortable right now (only referring to Zumba) but I can see the need for an additional Zumba time each day, in the near future, if more bodies show up & decide to become regulars. The class was lead by Keith, the owner of the studio and it was high energy. Keith is engaging, full of stamina, entertaining, and an interactive instructor. He can use an assistant to help him juggle various tasks in between classes (i.e. greeting, punching cards, questions, liability release, etc) but he manages. The playlist was non-stop, the music had great rhythm, beats, and sound (thanks to his new subwoofer:)), and the class was full. The class schedule seems to be organized well, offering one of each class available, at least, once a day including weekends. The class times were recently adjusted but seem to work well for most 9 to 5ers. He also has several trial and/or discount offers out there. I look forward to continuing the Zumba classes lead by Keith and the other instructors and eventually working into the other classes available. The studio is also offering virtual classes now so I'm excited to experience that. Now I'm going to moisten this rattle in my chest & nurse my sore, dancing feet but you can soon look for my cameo in Step Up XIV, thanks to Let's Do This!!!

GAIN is the perfect solution for someone like me who usually came up with every excuse in the book…read morefor why I couldn't work out. I get my workouts sent to me via the GAIN app on the days that I choose (and changing my days is done easily by texting my trainer) and see my trainer face to face once a month. At first, I was skeptical that I wouldn't hold myself accountable to an app. But I soon realized that my trainer is continuously monitoring my activity, so slacking off was not an option. I do my workouts at home and meet my trainer at her gym. I like the flexibility of being able to change how often I meet with my trainer if I like. Best of all, my body fat percentage went down 7.5% in just 5 months! By the way, my trainer is Kelli. I highly recommend her!

I like it. Obviously doesn't have everything a $150- month…read moregym has, but great location for me, and has what I need. Equipment and facility is cleaned and maintained regularly. You can do your own thing, or socialize - either is comfortable. I feel bad for management and employees. They recently installed new soap dispensers in the mens showers. It took about 2 weeks before 2 of the 4 had been pulled off the wall, and another week for the handles on the other 2 to be destroyed. They seemed like good quality dispensers, that had been properly installed. It's got to feel like "why bother caring". Most folks are fine, but it only takes a few oblivious fake-macho young guys to destroy everything they touch.

Every time I come to this particular gym the staff are condescending, ignorant cucks. Today was the…read more"Club Manager" according to his plastic little name tag. Apparently I don't belong here unless I show an "active" QR from the app. I walked in, and he stopped me as if I were shop-lifting. Aggressive and off-putting. "Excuse me!! Excuse me!!!" He practically chases me to the lockers because I had headphones in. "Your code doesn't go to anything. You aren't registered." What in the name of Jesus are you talking about?? You guys gave me this barcode, and I have been using it for 5 years, and have never been accused of trying to pull a fast one. "See? He says, it will make a sound, see?" Then he re-runs my barcode, but no sound comes out, so I have no idea what he is talking about. I tell him no one in five years has ever stopped me like this before. "I come to the gym about 4 to 5 days a week. "To THIS one?" he demands. "No, but I have been here twice before," I tell him, "with no issues." "Well you have to use the app...." then he drones on about the perks of having the app. Something about allowing friends and family in. (I am alone, so I have no idea why this is relevant, Mr. Big Aggressive Club Manager.) Furthermore, is this a "perks" thing -- or am I trying to scam you by using a barcode that you people gave me to use?? Which issue are we trying to address? I don't need your stupid app on my phone. Go touch grass, Ken.
