The fitness instructors, Chris and John were really nice and enthusiastic to help us lose weight and get fit. They asked us what our fitness goals were and we shared what we hoped to gain from the classes. In the 28 days, I went about 60% of the time. I wish they had a gym in North Seattle because the Queen Anne location is a bit of a drive for me, especially during high traffic time (6:15 p.m. class). There is plenty of parking at this facility. I really enjoyed the week day classes inside the gym. It doesn't get so crowded that you stand around. Both John and Chris were really great in helping us have the right posture while doing each work out routine so that we wouldn't insure ourselves. You end up doing a lot of squats and stomach exercises. During the first few classes, I was sore beyond belief. It really helped strengthen my muscles. On the weekends, you meet at a park in Queen Anne. While we worked out, we also played games. This was both entertaining and a great opportunity to become more in shape. The only minor critique I have is that their pricing structure is a bit steep. For those who don't have a great amount of disposable income, $100+ per month (can't remember the exact amount) is really expensive. I understand that gym memberships are expensive but this is on the pricier side. If you do the math, it is more than $1,000 a year for exercise classes. There is class pass offered in the Seattle area for $79, which gives you access to many different gyms around the city. I am aware that they have promotions but it only lasts for a limited amount of time. Aside from their pricing, I'd say that their instructors and facilities are top notch. I thoroughly enjoyed taking work out classes here. Oh yah, I forgot to mention that the recipes that the gym sends out are great. They email healthy recipes to those on their email chain. My friend who attends Ian, tried out a couple of dishes and really liked it.

I called 3 times in the past week and each time got a voicemail that tried too hard to appear jovial. No one returned my calls. I don't know whether the people that train there are telepaths, or they actually stopped by in person just to get a brochure, but the cheesy website, fake voicemail greeting and non-existing customer service killed it for me.

There's typically a theme for most days, some days focusing on more cardio, vs strength, vs core focused days. The two coaches: Sam and Brittan, are super friendly and helpful, and help you cater the moves based on your physical abilities. On-site towels are a huge perk - specially when the routine is meant to make you sweat buckets. I started the gym as part of the 6 week challenge in 2019 February, I was able to lose ~10lbs and 4% body fat. They also help you cater your food intake with meal plans and are always happy to answer your questions and concerns. Overall, I'm glad I found this gym!

They operate sign ups through the MindBody app and have a good amount of class offerings scattered throughout the day. My first class was great! I appreciated that the instructor was super welcoming and took the time to explain the machine. During class, she was highly attentive to everyone's needs and gave great cues and affirmation. She also shared ways to modify. My second class was spicier! The instructor started at the back of the carriage and it was a killer ab workout. Music was great in both classes! Both classes flew by, but were great workouts. A little movement can pack quite the punch. I enjoyed the class and think this is a great pilates studio. This is a single room studio with cubbies along the back wall and a bathroom.

She created an awesome full body workout and also pushed everyone to go make each rep count. The space itself was incredibly clean. They only allow 10 people max per class so you're able to have a more personal experience with your instructor. The reformers are not difficult to use and the instructors ensure that you know how the machine operates before class starts. You must wear grip socks to every class, and if you don't have any, they sell some at the entrance. Furthermore, you put your belongings in the cubbies up by the front of the class to prevent theft. They have a water refilling station and restroom located at back of the room. I would definitely come back for more classes and recommend this to all my friends to try it out at least once! Fun, top 40 music (with some deep cuts), easy-to-learn but challenging-to-keep-doing moves, and a great work out. Instructors and other class members are friendly and personable and push you if you want to be push and leave you be if that's what you want too. Their slogan is "it's not about how it looks; it's about how it feels," - and it feels great! Online registration is easy and quick.

The studio itself is relatively small, as it's one mirrored room with a bathroom in the corner, but has enough space for 20+ people in one fitness class. They provide yoga mats, towels, hair ties, and a shelf to put your belongings in. There's a fun disco light that sometimes gets used in select dance fitness classes, and also warm twinkle mood lights for the more relaxing yoga classes. There's street parking, which is decently easy to find (I've gone here for almost 2 years and I've never not been able to find a spot within a 5 min walk). Now, for the classes they offer here. As mentioned above, Oula is the best. It's a 50-minute high-energy dance fitness cardio class that's full of fun and sexy moves choreographed to the latest pop hits. What I love most is how empowering the class is--it's mostly women (everyone is welcome though!) singing and dancing together to uplifting songs. I can always count on Oula to cheer me up on a bad day. P.S. if you do try Oula, I recommend booking at least your first class with Quincy, as she's especially good at getting you pumped while shouting out the moves to help you follow along. The studio also offers other classes, including Barre, Pop Pilates, Hoopnotica, Zumba, yoga (in the form of Oula One), and Mixxedfit. There's a wide range of classes for you to try, so you really can't go wrong here! I originally found Compfit through Groupon and got addicted REAL quick. I am now on the 6-month membership, which makes booking classes super easy. Takeaway: Compfit makes working out fun and easy through various group fitness classes. I highly recommend trying this studio out!
