Prices are reasonable and the work is ALWAYS DONE by the time promised. My husband & I have relocated almost 900 miles away. I have been here a couple times for minor repairs. I have a few pants which I prefer to wear on long haul flights. After many years, the stitches on the front buttons would tear and need to be replaced. Fortunately, these folks were able to repair my favorite traveling pants and have them be ready for my next adventure. read more

I wish I could give them 0 stars. I definitely wont go back there. The worst tailor ever. I just wanted to shorten the straps from the dress and the way they did it changed the look of whole top. The dress looks like a disaster. On my comments the owner was just able to say "to fix it will be a lot of work" (read: it will cost a lot). So that's how they make money. They do terrible work and take money for this and then they take even more money for repairing what they did? Maybe I wouldnt be so upset but it is my wedding dress so I wanted it to look good read more

The owner blamed me for marking wrong when the hem was clearly an inch more than what I marked. He said 'you are wrong. When customer mark, it's their fault and they are wrong. We always do it right. I've been in business for 50 yrs.' I proceeded to tell him I've been sewing for 20+ yrs and didn't mark it wrong. His response 'we didn't do it wrong. You did it wrong'. Apparently this business takes no ownership in their work and blames the customer. Don't waste your time at this place. read more

Whenever I need expert alterations & tailoring I always take my items to F.M. Tailor, {in Flower Mound, near the Walmart Neighborhood Market}! No job is too difficult for them! They always do outstanding work! Just last week I took in an old coat for a "makeover" and they made my old coat look brand new! My uniform dress was taken in and made shorter. It took a week from drop off to pick up. They were very nice. I had to pay when I dropped it off. It was a little pricy from what I'm used to. Total was $55. They didn't have a price sheet when I asked so I'm not sure if the prices are consistent or they just give you a estimate when you drop off. Needs a 0 star rating. My experience was unacceptable. The lady that checked me in was polite. I asked for a 4" hem and had it marked on the item. When I picked up the item, a week later, they did a 2" hem. When I questioned it, Mr. Ahn instantly became loud, rude and aggressive. He yelled out loud at me "the work was done!" and pulled out fabric from the item clearly showing a 2" hem. I paid simply because it was a hassle at this point and said "have a nice day." as I left. He raised his voice and yelled out something in a language I didn't understand and I turned to him and said "what?" He waved his hand at me and grunted. Overall, work was not done as requested and Mr. Ahn was rude and aggressive. Will NEVER return here and I advise you to do the same. read more

Definitely never coming here again. The minute I came into the store, the owner pressured me with comments such as "some customers don't trust me despite the fact that I've been here for 20 years, and make me do hour long consultations"- all clear jabs at me. I did not like the price he offered, so after a FIFTEEN MINUTE(not hour long) fitting, I decided to go elsewhere. I had to lie and say that I would come back with my mother later because he made me so uncomfortable. He clearly didn't believe me and immediately threw a barrage of questions my way. "Why did you have such a long consultation? Why did you waste my time? Why does your mother need to see?" and after having enough, I stood my ground. Not liking my decision to leave, he began to SHOO ME OUT OF THE STORE like I was some animal! Then he waved me back in to undo all the pin marks and chalk that was still on my dress, treating it very roughly. Today, I found some black marks on my dress that were not there previously and suspect that he might have been the culprit while throwing my dress around. read more

I agree with one of the previous reviewers. If there was an 0 star rating I would give it to FM Tailor. This was hands down the worst experience I've ever had with a retailer. While I was in the process of getting four items tailored, the owner (Mr Ahn) was screaming at the top of his lungs to a construction worker who was performing work adjacent to his business. Apparently, the worker was making too much noise. The screaming went on for several minutes and was extremely unpleasant to overhear as I was just a few feet away. After the screaming match was over, Mr. Ahn never apologized to his customers in the store who were obviously shocked at his behavior. Realizing Mr. Ahn wasn't in the best of moods, I cautiously and politely proceeded to ask a couple of questions related to the tailoring of my clothes. Mr. Ahn rudely told me to leave because I was asking too many questions and I had to catch my own clothes that he threw back at me. I wasted no time leaving. Just because Mr. Ahn was upset at something doesn't make it ok for him to take out his anger on his customers. I would avoid this business at all costs. read more
