Upon asking a few more questions, she proceeded to tell me "I'm not sure if you saw, but our company has almost a 5-star review and that's almost unheard of". I didn't know what to make of it, but considering what some of their reviews mentioned, I felt as though we were going to get the same treatment. She said she'd get back to me by Friday with a quote and a visual of the kitchen updates-- it was Tuesday that day. We gave her a call that Friday afternoon to follow up and she insisted that the cabinet company was taking a while and that she'd get back to us by Monday the latest if not over the weekend. We waited and got nothing so my husband called her the following Wednesday without ever hearing from her. She continued to reassure us that she hasn't forgotten about us and that she'd get back to us by Monday for sure. It's now been 21 days and we got no updates or any communication from them. I used Justin to construct a custom media center for my TV. He did an excellent job. I haven't ever…read moreseen a contractor as meticulous as Justin is with his work. At the moment Justin is a one-man operation, and as a result he will require more time to complete his job than the big boys (e.g. California Closets when it comes to custom built-ins). The big boys, though, use particle board (whereas Justin uses birch plywood) and farm out the manufacturing operation to a factory to get things cut quick and have a install design (whereas Justin cuts everything himself in his own home, transports it himself and has to do all the alignments himself). I thought I had a civil engineer in my house measuring the curvature of my walls, that is how detailed he is. I asked Justin about what other kinds or work he does. He does all kinds of remodeling, including bathrooms among other things (although he will contracts out the plumbing for example). The big guys generally have a lead time of like 2-3 months. Justin's lead time is probably 1 month or so. He is extremely flexible. Very punctual too. I highly recommend him.
