I can't speak of this stores gun smith work, see other folks comments…read more However, I won't be going back to this gun store. From the parking lot I was greeted by a Coumo Sucks sign on the window. Inside in the gun cases are trump dollar bills, biden ...stickers with him pointing, like you've seen on gas pumps. I still don't know what any of this is doing in any store. Buying a firearm is serious business. So seeing these things is confusing and a huge distraction. The woman behind the counter was nice enough, but the man was a foul mouthed shit. He cursed endlessly. He complained about everything from the judges to the liberals to the permit system. There are few gun shops in this area, so you are limited on where to go, but that being said, I'll never go back to this store.

He expressed interest in my firearm and invited me, and my two adult 'adopted' grandchildren (19 F; 18 M) to bring weapon to his SHOPPE. From the way he spoke, it seemed apparent he was the owner. We proceeded purposefully. Less than a 15!minute drive and the three of us quietly, respectfully entered the store ( the owner had been sitting outside in a chair. The store appeared vacant. I introduced myself. Confirmed I was the gentleman with whom he had just chatted, in which he expressed interest in the fun and invited us to come by. Introduced my companions and presented the firearm, necessary ownership and registration documents, the firearm and certain accessories including the originally box and packaging. The gun had never been fired. The keep inspected the weapon and the record. Offered $250 cash to purchase the gun. That day. My 18 year old companion offered some insights about the firearm, and perhaps ended with a question. Most respectfully. The young man was knowledgeable about firearms generally and having independently researched my gun online, knew more about it and it's worth than I, the owner did. I was selling the weapon to raise cash to help the youth. The shoppe keep responded in a most defensive manner. Defending himself toward the young man in an overly assertive and mad disrespectful manner. The shoppe keep ordered the male out of his store. My 'adopted' grandkids immediately did an about face and left the store. The keep specifically offered me $250 cash for the weapon. I ask for a few short minutes to ponder. He knew I intended to consult with the youth and declined my request. Immediate response or his offer is immediately + 1 millisecond and his offer was deemed and was withdrawn. I left promptly. The 'owner' was within his legal rights to expel all of us from his store. He also had the legal right condition his offer in the fashion he did. I am a 70 year old man. Raised in farm country. Customary societal norms created a fierce expectation of proper manners, courtesy and common decency and always treat a human being with basic human dignity and respect. And any individual employed in any customer service related industry who did not consistently demonstrate an even higher standard of courtesy and respect, was certain to be a stay at home individual for a spell after. My life experiences have taught me there was at least one simple. Alternative. After the 18 yo spoke, were I in the keep's position - I would merely ask the seller for a momentary pause in their conversation. Then I'd turn to the young man who had been a boy legally a mere few short weeks prior and stated 'I heard you and thank you. I am have a conversation with the owner of the gun. Kindly permit me to continue my conversation with him and I will respond to each of your statements. Most respectfully sir, or young man'. To lose one's focus, potentially lose an opportunity for a sale, and maybe a lifelong hunting customer, and engage in what appeared to be a battle of wills, male egos - with a barely 18 male - in front of his grandpa - seems to me is far adrift from customary courtesy and local business practices. Respectfully to the public, Robert B Hunter, Esq.

First order smooth as silk absolutely no complaints whatsoever with the company…read more I needed a magazine tube assembly for my version of a Savage 46 .22 rifle and they carried a remanufactured version. The price was fair, order shipped within a few days and arrived quickly. The part fit and functioned nearly identical to the original. Some splinter head bullets that fit fine in the original get stuck in the tube now, but I did find a work around. Sort of. Standard ammunition however seems to all load and feed 100% as expected. And, to be fair, the splinter rounds fit tighter in the chamber as well and the rim of the brass measures about 6-7/1000ths wider than a standard round. The new part also really clicks into place at the muzzle end whereas the original loosely "slid" into the retention slot, which is why it was lost. Anyhow, this was my dads childhood rifle I use for rabbit, squirrel, and plinking and I'm glad to not have to retire it because the woods stole a part off of me. I was thankful to find a fully assembled part with the tube, springs, cap and follower. Saved time, probably money, and potential headache. I'll certainly order from Numrich again if the need arises.

Then I found Lee's, and everything changed. Justin walked me through everything--weight sizes, rod types, bait selection--all in a way that was clear, approachable, and perfect for a beginner like me. Starting something new like this can be overwhelming and intimidating, but Justin made it incredibly digestible. He's patient, friendly, and knowledgeable as heck. On top of that, he gave me some great tips on local fishing spots and some DIY tricks that work for him. The prices are super reasonable too--much better than big-name stores like Dick's or even Sierra. If you're new to fishing or looking for quality gear and advice, you can't go wrong with Lee's. He also has these adorable little Dachshunds that hang around sometimes. Highly recommended!
