I can't speak of this stores gun smith work, see other folks comments. However, I won't be going back to this gun store. From the parking lot I was greeted by a Coumo Sucks sign on the window. Inside in the gun cases are trump dollar bills, biden ...stickers with him pointing, like you've seen on gas pumps. I still don't know what any of this is doing in any store. Buying a firearm is serious business. So seeing these things is confusing and a huge distraction. The woman behind the counter was nice enough, but the man was a foul mouthed shit. He cursed endlessly. He complained about everything from the judges to the liberals to the permit system. There are few gun shops in this area, so you are limited on where to go, but that being said, I'll never go back to this store. read more

Just bought an old .30-.30 Winchester at a gun show. A dent in the feed tube prompted me to ask the seller if it fed rounds. Of course he replied, "Yes, but I haven't fired it." Within 5 minutes of getting home, I realized it ABSOLUTELY would not take and therefore feed rounds. As the tube was unobstructed, I couldn't figure it out for the life of me. After much research (I wasn't bringing an 1899 Winchester to just anybody), I decided on Ruger's, as he was the most highly recommended gunsmith in my circle of enthusiasts. Despite how busy he is and his extensive list of prior bookings,Chris diagnosed and figured out the problem FAST - the tube didn't extend down to the elevator as it should! A replacement tube was supplied and Chris got it properly functioning, again FAST! His repair price was exceptionally fair too. I HIGHLY recommend this business! read more

I stopped into the store last week. Just wanted some information on buying a pistol because I am looking to get my pistol permit. I believe the woman, who was the owner waited on me. Even though the store was busy she took her time and had a lot of patience answering my questions. She shared with me valuable information that I needed towards getting my permit. I would recommend her store anytime. I know when the time comes for me to buy my pistol I will be right back and have her help me. read more

I'm not sure if it's just due to the circumstances or what. But the assumed owner ( Older gentleman ) was not very polite and or helpful. Also it would seem he seemed himself immune from County and State law. You are not to wear a mask when in his store. Even during the current pandemic. If you come in with a protective facial covering for covid 19 he will either have you remove it or leave. Rather odd given the current health situation, and the small size of his store. ( Multiple customers in close proximity ). Once again this may be due to the increase in sales or lack of availability but the man was very abrupt and not very polite. He would rush you through any questions you have and would steer you towards the door. I assume all the high ratings are based on the custom work he does for various clients. That is fine. Just don't expect a friendly shopping experience or to be warmly welcomed in this establishment. Not much of a " Browse, shop, ask questions " kind of a place.
