Finally found it at Ferguson's! They were fast and fairly priced. Their retail price is higher than online, as it's based on volume. Very happy they ordered the exact part for me, instead of an entire assembly like hardware stores. Fixed it in about 5 minutes and the ankle biter is no more! + Ambiance is clean, well-organized plumbers' dream garage. This is NOT a retail shop. I have since visited two or three times, and it has followed through on its reputation! Sue Becker is extremely well known in the flour milling scene, and even though it's a 45 minute drive for me, I feel lucky getting to be "so close" to her store. They have everything you need to start milling and then some. Many different grains are available, including oils and vinegars, salts and sucanat (a sugar alternative that's basically dehydrated honey). Cookbooks, cooking tools, a few snacky treats, loose leaf teas, and coffees and more are all available. Housed in a warehouse building, the interior isn't anything glamorous, and half of the building is separated from the store by a large curtain, portioning off a classroom area. The A+ staff is knowledgeable and friendly, even while starting busy, and has gone out of their way to help me with multiple things before (e.g. even kindly helping clean up after a sick child!). Saturdays are class days and get busy. They're small parking lot will get full, but being near the end of a side street, street parking is widely available. You might have to walk some yards, but you don't have any trouble even on the busy day. Online ordering and picking up or shipping is available if you prefer. Pricing is fair. They only stock organic of a particular item *IF* the organic is the same price or cheaper than the non-organic version. Otherwise, organic and non are often both available for the most popular grains. I really like how they portion out batch amounts for Ezekiel bread so you can just buy a bag of the 12(?) grains measured out for you instead of having to buy 12 separate small bags of grain. Thoughtful touches like this along with the many free printed hand outs with conversion sheets and guides show that Bread Beckers really cares about empowering people to mill their own grains. They'll walk you through every step. (If you come from far away and need a pit stop with your kiddos like I do, I recommend J.J. Biello Park nearby. Custom Kitchen, Inc replaced my 1977 laminate countertops with exquisite granite. It's very…read moredifferent and matches well with the existing cabinets and our stone fireplace. When at the yard, I told the owner what I was looking for and he drove me to four samples and I loved three of them so it was apparent that he had listened carefully to what I wanted. I also liked picking the edge and corners. (Who knew there were so many choices.) The measurements were taken with a template, not a laser. On the the day of the templates, the crew pointed out a problem which neither the designer nor the construction manager for kitchen renovation had noticed and/or mentioned. We were able to anticipate the solution thanks to Custom Kitchen. And we were sent several pictures that showed how they proposed to lay out the templates on the granite. I suggested that the largest piece be flipped 180 degrees to pick up a "swoop" in the natural flow of the granite. I was sent another set of pictures which matched my very unscientific description, perfectly. The island needed 3 pieces of granite to accommodate the new range. the two pieces on the side are nicely matched and the third piece across the back of the range fits in very well. While the whole of the kitchen renovation turned into an extended nightmare, choosing and installing the granite was easy-peasy.
