Excellent customer service! Needed a temporary ring sleeve (my ring was purchased elsewhere and…read moremust be resized) and the sales associate was so kind and professional. They had a nice selection of engagement rings for men and women. We tried a couple on but we are just visiting the area, so the sales associate write down the information of the ring we liked so we would have it if we wanted to find it at home. She didn't have to do that, or clean my engagement ring, but she did! Excellent customer care in my opinion.

Why you should never purchase anything from Gordon's Jewelry (Zales Corp). I was given a necklace…read morethree years ago as a Valentine's Day gift. Along with the necklace, the lifetime warranty was purchased. I wore the necklace every day and never took it off until one day, when I pulled my hair back, a couple hairs got caught in the chain and it broke. The chain is covered under the warranty so I took it back to get repaired. I left 2 contact numbers and was told I would be called when it was ready to be picked up. 2 months after I had dropped it off, I still hadn't received a phone call and each time I tried to call, it would go unanswered. So I stopped in (almost an hour away from my house) to see what was taking so long. I was pretty annoyed when the associate tells me "oh, this has been ready for some time. Didn't anyone call you". I take my necklace and head home. The next day I put it on and wear it just to have it break a few hours later right where it was repaired. Now, I didn't have time to take it back right away because I was getting ready for my mom to be in town, after her visit, I was starting a new job, and then after that, the holiday season that would take me out of town. I had no time to get back to the store an hour away. I finally have time to go back now that things have settled down. I showed the associate my broken chain and ask if it can be replaced instead of repaired. He said, "yeah sure but we'll have to replace the pendent as well". I was kind of surprised but said ok. While I was waiting another associate turns around and says to me "well, if you don't want it to break, you'll have to buy a sturdier chain". I was really shocked at this because shouldn't the original chain be of quality and not necessary to have to buy a thicker chain? So I said no, I wanted the one that came with it. I stood there and waited while the 2 associates got together my new necklace. I asked if the warranty would transfer to the new item and was told no because it was a whole new necklace. I said "yes, because the other one broke and it wasn't repaired properly. Why should I have to pay for that". The guy that originally helped me then rolled his eyes at me and stomped off saying "I'm done with this crazy lady. She just doesn't get it". Um, RUDE much? When I try to get my questions answered from the 2nd associate, she just stares at me with a bank look and doesn't say a word. Then the guy comes back and sets my broken necklace back down in front of me and says "she can just have this one". I'm thoroughly confused and I'm still trying to get answered from the female associate and when I asked her why I'm not getting the new one, she says "I'm trying to figure up the difference for the new necklace". WTF?!? Come to find out even though the chain is covered under a lifetime warranty, they expected me to pay for the new necklace because it comes with a new pendent (something that didn't need replaced) and they didn't have just the chain plus the extra cost because the price of the necklace has gone up since it was originally purchased and I was to pay for a new warranty that was only $30 less than the cost of the necklace. When I asked for a manager the girl just gave me a card and said "fine, come back when she is here" then turned around to face the register and ignored me. Oh, and they wanted to keep the original necklace. What. The. Actual. French? I'll never be back and I'll be sure to let everyone know what kind of crooks they are.
