It was a little before close, so I was expecting to have to leave my band there for them to work on it, but they were able to work their magic in the time we were there and get the ring to finally fit my finger comfortably. This place is very cool and it was like going to a museum with all the old and odd items on display. Who ever prices the items obvious shoots for the moon and everything is super expensive to be haggled down to a better price it looked like. After seeing how super expensive the prices were the woman asked me if I would help her get a huge vase looking thing down from a high shelf, I said after seeing how expensive everything is I'm not touching anything in here, see my pictures. Even if your not going to do business with them it's worth stopping by and just looking around because the place is just cool.

The shop is welcoming, and Gordy and his son were both friendly and professional. I brought in a mixed assortment of gold odds and ends -- even some gold dust -- and Gordy examined everything with the eye of an expert and the enthusiasm of someone who truly loves what he does. His excitement when he found pieces worth more than I expected was delightful! As a former silversmith, I asked plenty of questions and he was a wealth of knowledge.
