If you are looking for a Jewelry store with an expert who can repair your watch, Weiss Jewelers is…read morethe only place to go. In the last few years, I have had two watches fixed expeditiously and at a reasonable cost. I live more than a half an hour away, and there are many jewelry stores in my neighborhood, but I would never go to any other place to get a watch repaired!

Should have looked at online reviews before I came in. I received a recommendation…read more I am currently going through a divorce and bankruptcy and was told by my bankruptcy attorney to have any jewelry looked at. I have a handful of watches that I just wanted batteries put in, a Skaagen and Movado watch that I wanted batteries, cleaned also fully appraised because of their value, a couple expensive pocket watches, and some random jewelry that I received from my grandfather. My grandparents didn't buy cheap jewelry over the years. So I wanted someone to take a look and give me an idea of value for my lawyers and for insurance. I was talking to a lovely lady who told me the price of their services and asked if I could leave everything and they would take care of it and determine what was worth anything and what is just sentimental and would take care of the watches. Then Scott Rettmer stepped in and proceeded to make me feel like crap for wasting their time. Told me that he wouldn't buy any of my items and I was just wasting their time. I was floored. I was willing to spend my money for their services and was happy to be patient, and then Scott stepped in and lost a good customer. I have a friend who is a jeweler in Wray, CO and, despite them being 2 1/2 hours away, I will gladly take my business there where they care about their customers!

From the very first design conversation, I felt listened to and cared for. They walked me through every step, helped bring my ideas to life, and made what could have felt overwhelming feel really exciting and collaborative. Getting to try on the 3D print before the ring was made was such a cool moment. It made everything feel real and gave me total confidence in the design. And then the final ring... I truly couldn't love it more. It's beautiful, thoughtful, and carries so much history while still feeling completely new. If you're considering redesigning heirloom jewelry or creating something custom, I can't recommend them enough. The craftsmanship, communication, and overall experience were all exceptional.

Five-Star Review for Goldworks…read more Twenty-seven years ago, my engagement ring had a CZ while my husband paid off the real diamond. Choosing layaway instead of debt was our first financial decision together. When the diamond was finally paid off and set, the jeweler moved the CZ into a simple white-gold pendant I wore every day for more than 20 years -- a small but meaningful reminder of our commitment to start our marriage debt-free. After decades of wear, the clasp broke, and I lost the necklace before I could repair it. I searched for months before accepting it was gone. We came to Goldworks hoping to recreate it, and they exceeded every expectation. They listened with genuine care and rebuilt the necklace beautifully -- honoring the original design, but this time with a real diamond. It matches my wedding set perfectly and feels like a piece of our history restored. Thank you, Goldworks, for your kindness, craftsmanship, and respect. We are truly grateful.

This was a known issue from the date of receiving my ring and for my 25th anniversary I requested they clean up the fire scaling. When I left my ring the only known issue was the fire scaling, after THEY removed all the diamonds they reported that my center stone-a very rare Colorado Diamond was chipped/scratched and that this was caused by other diamonds that shifted in the course of wearing my ring as the platinum was a soft medal. This center stone was NOT chipped/scratched when I left the ring at Rocky Mountain Goldworks and I talked with the sales rep Nikoo and the owner Tom and both refused to acknowledge any ownership that when removing the stones that they damaged the very rare Colorado Diamond. This very rare Colorado Diamond cannot be replaced as these are no longer being mined in Northern Colorado. Be wary when bringing heirloom pieces to this shop. The fire scaling on my ring was not even part of the center setting which housed the Colorado Diamond so I also question whether it even needed to be removed. I'm very happy with the design/look of ring but tremendously disappointed with the outcome of the damage to my Colorado Diamond.
