Took it to CPR and got it diagnosed, the motherboard is completely shot to the point they're not even sure how it started up. Waste of $270 total, this place clearly doesn't test their electronics that they purchase and they do not have a specific return policy of any kind. Don't do business with these people, they don't care enough to thoroughly inspect what they're buying off of people.

As with all pawn shops, this paticular Mister Money on Monroe, in Ft Collins, you'll always get…read moreripped with rock bottom prices on your sell of jewlery, electronics, tech. Plus they will turn around and sell it with 200% to 600% markup. However, I've found the owner/mngr is a straight forward guy...hard core, still more honorable then the others in town. I've seen other pawn shops straight out lie about what your really selling them, so know your stuff before you go in. This pawn shop seems more on the mark, but be aware of all things concerning selling versus payback loans. You can expect huge loan payback fees. Like we're talking up to 240%! So, if you choose to make payments past the first thirty days, read your contract! Don't let them hurry you or pretend their time's more important then your welfare...the rate is compounded daily, after the 30 day clause! It would be better to go get a "Bad Credit" credit card offer, because credit card companies are more strongly regulated on how much they can take from your pocket for use of their money. If you want to sell something, that's cool, but know your paying massive payback on pawning for loans. They suggest their paying you the set daily value on gold, but give nothing for stones other then diamonds and that's certainly not set at market value! This particular pawn shop does have a fairly straight forward mngr, but CAN BE a little demanding, which I would think you'd have to be with all the different characters coming in...I think you'd become jaded in that industry. Also, there are a few nice and helpful sales people there at Monroe Mister Money.

One-Star Review I've…read morehad several frustrating experiences with EZPawn. Almost every time I've bought something electronic there, there seems to be something wrong with it. If you're selling used electronics, I understand that things may not be perfect, but customers should still expect items to be in working condition. I also understand that when you sell something to a pawn shop, you won't get full retail value--sometimes around a third of the price is understandable. But there's a difference between getting a fair pawn-shop price and feeling like you've been completely ripped off. If customers are expected to sell items in decent condition, the same standard should apply to the items being sold back to customers. You wouldn't expect us to give you complete junk, so customers shouldn't receive junk either. I hope EZPawn improves the quality and condition of the electronics they sell and treats customers more fairly.
