Best shop in town, clean, friendly, and fair priced. If you are looking for a used tool, gun, jewelry this should be your first stop.

I've only ever come here for guns because occasionally they have cool stuff, but every time I come the staff are friendly.

He was extremely helpful and made the whole process easy even though this was not a sale for them (they were just the FFL for the transfer).

When I asked why they would have that at an indoor range the employee said they had a 100 yard range. He said it was "really old" despite the brand new stock. It looked in 8/10 exterior condition to be honest. I asked if he had an idea how many rounds had been shot out of it, he said probably between 50-100k. Math wasn't mathing, I thought to myself who goes to an indoor range to shoot a bolt rifle at $2/Round - not many people. Couldn't dissuade me I told him I'd take it. Came back 3 days later to pick it up and mentioned the previous interaction to a new employee after he himself was amazed at the deal and he chuckled when I said I thought the previous employee was just trying to talk people out of it till his next paycheck hit and mentioned employees have a 2 week wait till their can buy any guns on the wall. Anyways, smoking deal on the RPR. Worried about the barrel being shot out I scoped it with a borescope and it looks amazing. Once in a lifetime deal. Been here a couple of times before and they honored their pricing on .243 as the shelf read $6-8 less than what it range up as. Overall huge store, decent collection of guns not as many as I'd think they would have considering the amount of cases they have. Over nice clean store, could use some more employees behind the counter as there's probably 5x that through the campus.

All of the ranges are kept in excellent working condition 2 x 25 yds, 1 x 50yds & 1 x 100 yds, Bopper (Steel plates) and an interactive (Simulation Range). The RSOs are friendly but firm on the rules, as it should be. The sales folk will always be happy to sell you a new, new-to-you firearm or Order it if they don't have it on hand. If you need to try a firearm out before purchasing, you can always Rent one from their catalog of available firearms. If you need Training, they have in-house trainers via the Makhaira Group and classrooms on-site.

I stopped in on Saturday, Dec. 13 to pick up an online order, only to find that this location didn't stock the two-gallon jug of motor oil I had ordered due to a web-order glitch. What stood out was how hard the staff worked to sort it out. Erin, the store manager, Kyle from the auto section, and several other associates all jumped in and genuinely tried to help. The nice blonde "roamer" as well as the young lady in the Chicago Bears at the front were great! In the end, Erin suggested canceling the order and purchasing it at the Broomfield location, which I did. Even so, the Loveland staff went out of their way to assist. Great customer service and excellent value overall.

Upon entering, I was amazed at how large the store was on the inside. They have everything from camping gear, winter gear, farming supplies, even home decor. My roommate and I were browsing and even found some camping accessories we've been wanting. This place reminds me of a rural version of Scheels. My friend and I were also on the hunt for a propane tank. When we found an employee who we thought would help us, we were passed on. Then when we finally got someone to help us, she lost interest and said she would be back and never returned. Needless to say we left empty handed on the propane. Next up, checking out. I felt that I was interrupting the woman who was checking us out by asking her help with the process. At some point she tried to make us go to the opposite end of the store to check out. It's a shame customer service here is lackluster. The store is pretty neat, but the employees leave much to the imagination. I don't believe I will be back anytime soon.

A friend of mine from Minnesota…read moreused to drive past the huge Scheels billboards whenever I visited, and for some reason I assumed it was more of a farm supply type place where people bought machinery and work clothes. Because of that completely wrong assumption, I never bothered to go in. Fast forward a few years and after reading the reviews here in Colorado I finally decided I had to see it for myself. Yesterday, March 6th, the weather was miserable. Cold, windy, light snow and rain. Not the kind of day you want to be outside, let alone skiing. So I figured it was the perfect day to finally give Scheels a try. I ended up spending five hours in the store and taking more than 250 photos, and this place absolutely blew my mind. There were sports and equipment sections I didn't even know existed. The store truly has everything you could possibly need and then some. What impressed me most was the staff. They were knowledgeable and helpful but didn't hover every five seconds like some stores do, which allowed me to really explore and absorb everything. The shoe selection was outstanding with every kind of running shoe, ski boot, work boot and outdoor footwear you could imagine, and the shoe staff were clearly well trained helping customers. I also spent about 45 minutes in the luggage section, which was surprisingly impressive. It's clearly a curated department run by someone who truly understands travel. I spoke with a luggage specialist who I believe is from Asia and a serious world traveler herself. She was incredibly knowledgeable and immediately understood what I meant when I told her I was tired of hard-sided luggage and wanted something built for an active lifestyle. She introduced me to a beautiful 100-liter Patagonia rolling duffel with durable wheels, strong zippers, and soft-sided construction that can actually handle real travel. These types of bags come with lifetime guarantees on the wheels and zippers, and now I'm officially saving my pennies to buy one. The store itself was alive and buzzing with families, couples, hunters, skiers and outdoor enthusiasts everywhere. The only section that felt a little thin was the women's golf apparel where most of the XS sizes were gone, while the men's golf section was very well stocked. Parking was plentiful and easy. Scheels isn't just a sporting goods store. It's an experience.

I was blown away by the customer service, kindness, and kindness professionalism of these owner-operators. I just wish it were a little closer to my house.
