On my first visit, Scott took the time to help me select five fractional gold coins and three Silver Britannias to add to my collection. He was knowledgeable, patient and happy to answer questions without any pressure to buy. I returned the following day as I had a couple of hours to spare and Scott recognised me straight away. He was incredibly patient again while I worked through a large selection of silver coins looking for specific dates to fill gaps in my collection. I ended up purchasing over 20 silver coins, including American Silver Eagles, Britannias and Maples. Prices were very competitive, based on spot + a set %, the selection was excellent, and they even sold me a spot-priced silver bar and gave me a complimentary 1963 half dollar, which was a very appreciated gesture. As a collector travelling from overseas, I couldn't have asked for better service. Friendly, knowledgeable staff, fair pricing and a great range of inventory, I just wish I had planned a larger budget for the trip. They were always friendly, and I never once had a problem. I felt like I knew the the people who worked there, got a lot of great deals, doing business there was a pleasure. That all changed, roughly a year ago. A new woman there, (I guess a manager?) is, to put it mildly, Very Unpleasant. When I brought items in, I was interrogated. I started to see less and less of the old crew, and the staff that was there definitely seemed to be intimidated by this woman. Not only has she never had a decent thing to say, but has outright insulted me and been untruthful. During my last attempt to do business there, I was once again interrogated, yelled at, and was told she didn't "like the way I looked". Whats a middle aged, employed person that has been doing business at the same location for nearly ten years look like? Me, I guess. Good grief. I feel a bit sorry for the remaining staff. I watched her yell at a poor girl who was trying to order her lunch. The inventory is down by about half as well. I guess other people don't appreciate that kind of behavior either. Its just a shame. The interaction, attitude, the level of disrespect and etiquette was about as bad as it could get. I needed $400 for a small real estate deal this afternoon, not wanting to take a cash advance on a card and I thought wow, I've lived in Leander for over 10 years, driven by this store on my way to the car wash next door. Lemme see what I can get. First off, I'm extremely aware of the idea what we have is never worth as much as we think. I've traded in dozens of sets of clubs over the past 50 years, I use the PGA Retail Value trade in guide as a barometer and their book is vers valuable. It's solid. Dicks Sporting Goods, PGA Superstore, Golf Galaxy all use this very guide. And I get it, they only had 2 bags of clubs in there they wanted $60-$100 for and 1 were more than 10 years old, and 1 set was at least 20 years old. I was polite, waited patiently, wasn't expecting anything else...and he wouldn't give me more than $100 for the clubs on a loan, and I couldn't replace the bag & clubs for under $1500. Impossible. Of course, that's probably why they don't have any clubs in there because they're dismissive and rude, and it's fine because I don't need the money that bad. What this little man didn't know was I had a Tag in my pocket I would've sold for $$ he could've made nice money on but once the disrespectful tone & attitude took over that was a non-starter for me. I pawned the clubs elsewhere for $350, which all I really needed. I won't be back, I'll never forget.

They are still a pretty new shop, but when it's time to get rid of some of my grannie's old coins, I know where I'll be taking them to. They also have a cool selection of antique and vintage coins for sale that you just wouldn't expect to find every day. I love Egypt, and the owner was able to show me some ancient Egyptian coins. Because I purchased something, I was also given a very beautiful Florida Goldback before I left. I will absolutely be back.
