CARELESS AND RECKLESS Or INEXPERIENCE And IRRESPONSIBLE…read more would be best description if anyone hire this company. Beware. On about early February I spoke with three different movers one which was On Friday, February 10, 2023 Pronto Movers / pronto moving I spoke with Mr. Farhat who appeared to be reasonable. He said many things and sold empty promises to move my items without damages. I decided to hire Mr. Farhat because said I can have this arranged for $2200+ tax. I did not negotiate with him, I recognized the movers hard work. On February 16, 2023 price was agreed in writing for moving to first storage then March 23, 2023 to second move to home. The morning when he arrived at my door his price went up by $100 verbally. Fist tell-tell sign about Mr. Farhat. I dont know, is it lack of experience or responsibilities or he doesnt have knowledge of moving appliances, furniture. I had specifically told him I have high-end (brand new appliances), make sure nothing is damaged. He basically stuff everything in the truck putting things on top other things. Some fragile and valuable porcelains was put on the side, I told him take this at the end do not put anything on these boxes. He could NOT follow on simple importance of my things did communicate with his men. I had to tell each one them myself. Pieces of furniture with scratched. So if you are type of a person like me, who value his belongings I suggest you DO NOT consider hiring ProntoMovers/ProntoMoving. Unloading his truck of course at the end he damaged my appliances and (Mr. Ferhat) was open to said he will do something about it I said thank you just have it fixed. The damages were caused by himself, he stacked a big heavy BBQ machine on top of my appliances which got dented. He did not get back when my stuff was in storage for 30 days. On March 23, 2023 second location moving day, When it is delivered at my home we talked about the damages, he made some offers, I could not agree but days are passing, he started to go on offensive and disagree on things. I repeatedly asked him to fix it. I dont want money or compensation or anything else. YOU DAMAGED IT, JUST FIX IT. They are careless and took no responsibility and are giving me the run around, the company is making it difficult. I care about my things specially valuables and my brand new belongings. Beware -he charge customer for his insurance deductible -he is not clear about (who is responsible) damages under $200 -he will scratches, scuff, drag furnitures cause small repair cost -his Price and Quote will changes base the customers lifestyle, so his written quote is fake/false -he does not care how long will he take, he will give you the runaround

On the phone they insulted their competitors as a sales tactic claiming that the big co's ''don't care'' and reassured me that they truly do. Next morning I awake to an email - they rudely refused to even provide a quotation because ''they dont move hospital beds''. When I clarified that it was just a SERTA adjustable head/foot bed frame weighing maybe 150lbs and questioned how a ''professional'' moving company wasn't able to move it, especially after reassuring me on the phone that they were the ''caring ones'' and insulting TWO MEN AND A TRUCK, Todd's reply was rudely immature and petulant... ''if you would have just said it's not a hospital bed and left out the b. S. Afterwards. I would have sent you a quote. We are a little past that now aren't we?'' Petulant. Childish. Unprofessional. Customer service alone is too horrible to do business with. As a customer services manager in my own career I can honestly say that of the 10 moving companies I've contacted, 2 PRO MOVERS was the only rude one. I can't give a 0 Star Rating. But if I could. And did not burn a hole in my pocket price wise! Abdullah and his team did their best to accommodate our time needs, and took the time to ask my wife and I about any concerns and preferences for certain items. The truth is, when I hired these movers, they didn't break anything, they didn't damage much. Oh there was some dirt on the couch, and the dresser had a couple new scratches, but like he said, it was already kind of scratched. But if you want a psychologically traumatic move, this is your ticket. Obfuscate, Humiliate, Manipulate: OHM. OHM is like the company mantra. Say it like you'd say it in bikram Saturday morning. We didn't get an honest answer from these losers all day. And in the end, they let us know that terrorism truly does begin at home, by verbally attacking us, revealing the depth of their own insecurity. They held our last possession ransom, and not for money you see - no, they were paid - they demanded to be paid - before lifting a finger. It was our dignity they were after. Beg us, they said. Beg us to bring that thing, that whateveritwas, that thing you can't carry by yourself, plead with us to have mercy and carry it off the truck and into your house. You think you are better than us, but we have the power here. And apart from all that, the two monkeys had never seen the inside of a real moving truck. Two high frosh with a uhaul demonstrate as much skill as these twats. Was this review weird? You bet it was. I'm a pretty boring person, and I couldn't have made it up. This really happened.

The second one wanted me to provide a detailed list of items to move - instead of coming to see us and providing a quote. And the third one - Top Notch (Marc the owner) - contacted us quickly and setup a day/time to come and talk to us, and assess clearly what needed doing. Marc showed up and I liked his honest approach immediately. He was very upfront, took notice of special items, asked many questions and told us, with great sincerity, how great his team was. I knew from that meeting that I would go with Marc. Moving day came - and - due to pretty severe illness 1 week prior to our move - we were behind on our packing. Marc and his team were wonderful and got us moved regardless. His team was fabulous: friendly, happy, fast, efficient, and careful. We really enjoyed dealing with them. I had a number of precious pieces of furniture that they were very aware of and very careful with. (Note: I had gotten appraisals and purchased insurance via Top Notch for these items and this is an important step, as the standard move insurance is by the pound and will not come close to covering actual replacement costs for anything of any value.) It was all moved without incident. I enjoyed listening/watching them work. They worked/communicated as a team, and moved with quiet efficiency.
