It's easy to overlook because they're a separate little shop on the other side of the gas station. It looks a bit sketchy at first and second and third, but don't let that deter you! They were friendly, fast, and efficient. When I walked in there was a lady eating lunch working the counter. I believe this lady also left to perform my vehicle inspection, came back and rang me up. She clearly knew what she was doing and did it all. Go 'head, girl! Cost was $25.50 and I was in and out in seriously 10 minutes with my "PASS" verification in hand. They send the verification to the DMV for you as well, making the registration process much easier. I'm not sure if they do anything else, but I'll be back if I have to do this again. Highly recommended. No frills here...just get 'er done. Thanks Yelpers...you didn't let me down on this one.

A no frills establishment that does one thing and does it well. They are very quick with your inspection and there is usually never a very long wait. They have a seating area inside with couches and a TV to wait while they perform your inspection. If you are hungry, you can walk next door to Cisco's taqueria which is pretty good to grab a snack. The convenience store is also right there for anything you may need. I like this place and bring all my vehicles here for their yearly inspections.

The owners Casey and Graham are two of the most friendly, knowledgeable automotive service workers I have ever done business with, and I have done business with them for about four years. Relatives from NW Houston drive up to their shop because of the honest and excellent work.

The wife was telling about why they keep the price so low. It took the husband less than 20 minutes to inspect my vehicle and pass it. Clean and up to date lobby area; not dismal like a few auto shops I've previously been to where I've gotten my inspections done. The Masters lobby is bright, well lit, with fresh scent. I spent my time chatting with Misses. She even gave me recommendations on a place to get my sticker. Come to The Masters to get your inspection, you won't be disappointed! No problem, I pulled out my electronic ID card which shows the effective dates and I'm within the current term. She says this isn't good and she needs to see an ID card with the vehicle listed on the policy. I proceed to pull up in the app the proof of coverage which shows the vehicles VIn, my liability limits and deductibles. She then says it has to be the TX ID card itself. She then says I have a 30 minute wait so I have time to "figure it out" with a very rude tone. Ngl I'm not big on writing reviews, especially bad ones. However, after showing her two different proofs of insurance and to still give a tone and talk down to someone like they're dumb, that's not the customer service anyone wants. Won't be going back and currently writing this review in the state inspection place down the road. Funniest part of the interaction was when she was continuing to explain what a Tx ID card is and I'm a Property and casualty insurance agent by profession. I showed her two separate copies. Not a fan and wouldn't recommend coming here. Rude tones, and desk people who don't know what a TX ID card is.

I showed up stressed out after dealing with an oil pressure issue overnight on my Ram 1500. I got there right at 7:30 when they opened, and before I could even finish parking, a guy named Elijah comes walking straight out with a smile, like he's been waiting for me all morning. I told him what was going on, oil pressure all over the place, worried it was something serious, and he just said, "Don't worry, man. We'll take care of you." And he actually meant it. No corporate script, no fake friendliness, just a guy who clearly knows cars and actually gives a damn. He walked me through everything, what oil they use, why they use it, what filter they were putting on, even checked my air filter and fluids without once trying to upsell me like every other oil place on earth. (You know the kind, the ones who act like your transmission's about to explode if you don't buy their $79.99 "Performance Package.") Not here. Elijah showed me my air filter, topped off my coolant and wiper fluid, and didn't try to sell me anything unnecessary. In fact, he was so genuine that when he mentioned wiper blades, which I actually needed, I bought them without hesitation. That's how you know a guy's honest, when you want to spend money with him. The shop itself is small from the outside, but don't let that fool you, they've got serious equipment and even better attitudes. It's clean, organized, and clearly run by people who take pride in what they do. I'm not even from Houston (I'm up in Dallas), but after this experience, I might just start timing my oil changes for when I'm down here on business. Seriously. I was going to go to Take 5 down the street, but the reviews there read like a horror story, people claiming they didn't even change the oil, just topped it off. Dodged a bullet.
