They were very good at keeping in contact and contacting me almost right away even though it was after hours. My garage door was closing hard and squeaked. I posted a project on Yelp and EZ Open Garage Doors replied to me in less than 15 minutes, asked a few questions and provided a quote for repair. I was also able to easily schedule a date for service that was convenient for me. On the day of my appointment Ken texted me to inform me of his ETA. Ken showed up on time, was very professional and has a positive can do attitude. He immediately began diagnosing my issue and started his work to repair my problems. The final bill came in less than my quote because of the specific nature of the repair which was a blessing. My garage door would not open, we could open it manually. Thought a spring broke in it. I called this place and the woman who answered was lovely, asked me what was going on, and even walked me through looking at the springs. I didn't know the springs were on the inside of the rod, so I told her some incorrect information. She was able to have someone come out the same day and quoted me some prices and informed the technician coming out will text me that they were on the way. The technician did just that, arrived on time. His name was Ken. He was very honest and forthcoming. Showed me how my sensors worked, adjusted something, made sure the springs were good. I totally figured I was about to pay a load of money, however I was surprised by the sheer honesty of the tech. They could have said oh yep that is a broken spring, instead he was honest, my springs were OK they might not last too much longer, of course he didn't give me a precise time frame on when that would happen. But said in general this is how long I've been seeing them last for the garage door we have and the system that was used. Could be tomorrow or two years. So I'll save up to get the system replaced and it will be replaced by them. Because seriously. I'm not well versed in garage doors and how the system operates. Any other company could have said anything to me about it and I would have said OK what do I need to do to fix it. And also, like don't worry if your house is a completely and utter pig sty disaster, I kept apologizing to the tech cause he had to walk through my nasty house, medical issues and work and my housework kinda took a backseat. The tech looked like I had two heads and said ma'am no worries like he didn't care and he understood. Like seriously, thanks Ken for not caring about the state of my house. After a few back and forth messages I had a confirmed appointment time window the same day for a very fair price. This was about as easy as it gets. E-Z Open garage doors was on yelp with a get a quote feature. I contact them directly through yelp (super convenient) and they got back to me in about 30 minutes. They gave me a quote without any hassle. Once I got the quote, I replied back through the Yelp chat feature and scheduled the repair visit. The technician was right on time. Just a thank you to E-Z Open Garage Doors & Ken. Moved into my house in Dec 2019 and the 11 year old garage opener only had one remote. Tried everything to get more than one remote (and cars) to sink but no luck. This week the only remote I had died. Ken came out and found out the remote was indeed bad but he also found out the previous owners installed LED light bulbs in the door opener which on my unit interfered with the signal. He said it is rare but he has seen it a time or two on older models. He was able to get both my cars remotes to work. Will buy a new remote or two. read more

I started the process of finding a new garage door servicer last night around 9 pm. I didn't expect a response until today but Chris responded to me very shortly after I inquired. I couldn't schedule until this morning bc I needed to make sure I didn't have any meetings that conflicted. I asked if I could contact her back this morning and she said, "Absolutely!". I called her shortly after 7:30 am and left a message. Chris called me back shortly and scheduled a tech for between 12 and 2 pm. I came home from an extended leave away to find that the garage door had been broken and was hanging askew. I was pretty upset at the surprise and knew I had to get it fixed ASAP or risk the wrath of the HOA. It was a Friday night and I knew I probably wouldn't have much luck finding someone to come out last minute. To my surprise, I got a response from E-Z Open Garage Doors not even half an hour after I sent them a message! They were able to come out the very next morning and Ken was SO nice and personable. He reassured me he could get it done and gave me a quote that he stuck to even though it ended up taking him a little longer than expected due to an unforseen issue. My garage door broke down completely Sunday evening. Called E-Z Sunday and left a message. Got a call back Monday morning and they were able to schedule a repair for me Tues afternoon.
