are they still in business no one call me back . They did great work for me in the past but now I cannot get a hold of anyone.

Had a broken garage door spring and needed it fixed (the previous home owner had two different sized springs installed for some reason). America's Garage Doors LLC was ready to help immediately. Kadin explained the various options to address the problem along with preventative maintenance while performing the work. Ultimately got the bearings, cables, rollers, and both springs (each the same strength and thickness) replaced with a 10 year warranty. Took him about 1.5 hours. Strongly recommend! read more

America's Garage Doors installed 2 garage door openers and sensor systems on my doors 3 years ago. The Safe t systems failed on the one of the doors. I called AMerica's Garage Doors and the owner said she would call back the next day when she could ensure a tech in the area. She never did. When I called her - she said - " we don't service your area anymore". So in other words they will sell and service when there are making a sale but not to repair. Not a company that stand behind their product. Don't do business with them. read more

They did not complete the installation process. When I reached back out, they told me to contact the manufacturer's customer service. Very dissatisfied. I do not recommend. read more

Great service, nice dealing with Chris, who was very communicative, very good finished product, a tad on expensive side.

I desperately needed garage door repair in an emergency situation when I woke up to find that my garage door had fallen off of the rollers! I ended up having to reschedule a doctors appointment because I couldn't get out but my garage door was completely repaired within four hours! The man that was sent to fix it was very gracious and kind! Very thankful he was able to help me out of such a predicament! read more

these guys came out and did a great job, they were flexible with appts and also replaced some faulty rollers that were causing extra noise and strain on the garage opener. Highly recommend read more

Last week, I heard a loud boom in my garage. The springs broke from it expanding too much in this Florida heat. While my garage door opener was older, it was fixable, excluding the springs that needed replacing. When I had the tech from America Garage Doors LLC come to my home. He quoted me $536.00 to replace the springs so my garage door could be MANUALLY opened, "since our cars were trapped inside". I thought that was ridiculous, so I had another company. @costaldoorandgatellc Coastal Door and Gate LLC gave me another estimate that was much more reasonable. They replaced my whole garage system with springs, new sensors, and a new wall mount for 767.00 dollars. They were done and completed with that within an hour and hauled my old equipment away. I am highly disgusted with America's Garage Door and will strongly advise not to you use them. read more

I was not happy with American Garage Door Repair. Kadin actually messed up the controls on the unit at the ceiling & left with my screwdriver that he asked to borrow. Was going to order a part Friday AM........and I have not heard back!! It's been a week tomorrow!! I do not recommend this company!! read more

My garage door had an issue and wouldn't open/close correctly. I called America's Garage Doors and they came same day! Austin walked me through the issue and made sure I understood the diagnostic and repair. Everything was completed in 30 minutes. I recommend Austin any time you need a garage door repair at a great price. read more

I called this company and requested a quote to change the springs in our Wayne Dalton garage door. I specifically gave them the name of the garage door and the ZZ# of the garage door part to get an accurate quote. I even spoke with the owner since I had questions about the springs that needed to be replaced. When the tech came out to do the job, I found out the representative I spoke to on the phone gave me the wrong quote. Naturally, I was upset since I had no choice but to cancel the job because there was a big difference from the original quote and because I had to give up my Saturday afternoon to meet with the technician. I then called the company and requested to speak with the owner since I was getting conflicting information. Long story short, the owner accused me of being rude and a "Mr. Know it all". It seems me asking questions and trying to educate myself about the part I was trying to replace rubbed him the wrong way. Besides that, the owner kept re-iterating how many years he has been in the business and how they did nothing wrong. I tried to explain to him, that I specifically mentioned the type of garage door and ZZ# to the representative when she gave me the initial quote. Thus, there should not have been any confusion. The point I was trying to make was, the representative gave me the wrong quote and wasted my time. This completely went over the owner's head. There was no apology for what transpired. Basically, he ended the conversation with, this is the correct quote, do you want us to do it or not? Although I was upset with the representative that gave me the wrong quote, I originally had no intention of leaving a negative review. I understand the representative made an honest mistake and things like this do happen. I called the company hoping to make the owner aware of the failure in communication so they can correct this & get an apology. However, it was my negative experience with the owner that resulted in me writing this review. read more

I would recommend America's Garage Doors over and over. Hassel free customer focused service. Thank you Alex and Ocy you made the installation smooth and worry free. Thanks again read more

Have 2 torsion springs replaced by them. The tech came, 5 minutes later told me he cannot get the bolt off the bracket that holds the 2 springs together, claimed it was fused together or something and charge $90 more for replacing the bracket. At that point, I don't have a choice and agreed. When the broken parts are on the floor, I was curious to how bad the bolt is stuck. There is no rust on the bolt or the bracket AT ALL. I took a breaker bar and the right size socket, within 3 minutes, the bolt is off!!! The tech told me "oh that was impressive"..."Oh the charge is mostly labor and also for my experience". That is a lot of BS charge for labor to slide the broken springs off the rod. Which they have to be slide off anyways!!! To summarize my experiences with America's garage door, don't trust them! The tech charged for something that is NOT NECESSARY! read more

Such a great company. I had a guy come in that ended up ripping me off right before hurricane Irma came. I was in desperate need of help. I couldn't get the door to come down. We call everywhere and they were either too much or choice come due to the storm. I called America's garage doors and they came right over. The guy Eric was very kind and compassionate to my situation. He helped me with the door and explained everything while working so I could learn some about garage doors, so that I would never get ripped off again. But I know I won't be. Because I will definitely use them again and again. Thank you guys for helping me during this time of need. read more

When your car is stuck in the garage because your door won't open, call these guys!! They were out in an hour and had me out of the garage and off to work in less than 30 minutes. The price was fair and Brad, the technician, was courteous and knowledgable. read more

Bought a house. Month later garage had issues so I called these guys since their number was on the wall. I could see that the coupler inside the opener was broken and needed to be replaced, and asked them to come out. They came out, without the part. Took an hour+ for him to drive back to a warehouse and go get the part and come back. After replacing the broken part, he wasn't able to get the door adjusted so that it didn't stop half way. He said that the opener was broken and not worth fixing, and that I needed a new opener and that I also needed 2 new springs (quoted hundreds of dollars). After calling around, I got a quote from a different company (Garage Door Guys) to come out since they were going to charge a lot less for an opener + 2 new springs. Turns out, the Garage Door Guys company was able to fix my existing opener in 5 minutes, AND they said that our springs were in good shape still / had already been replaced. Saved me hundreds of dollars. So, in summary: America's Garage Doors is a very poor choice in garage door repair companies. read more

My garage door wouldn't open and they came to my house the same day to repair my garage door. Apparently there is a huge spring that was broken. Very quick and professional company. I am leary about service companies because I have had issues in the past. I looked these guys up and they were properly licensed and insured. I was surprised how many companies out there aren't even licensed. No thank you! read more

America's Garage Doors did not seem to have it together. The guy that came out first to measure thought he was there to give me an estimate when I already had that. I scheduled an appointment for Monday from 10am to 12pm, installer did not show up until 1pm. Prior to arriving installer texted me asking if he was coming to do an estimate, repair or door replacement. I told him a full door replacement. He then said ok I'm coming now to measure then have to pick up the door. I had them out Friday to do these measurements. I was quoted a price that included new tracks put on. When installer arrived he said that would be $200 more. I emailed the office twice with my concerns and they have never responded. I called the office and spoke with someone. They were calling the installer and were going to have the manager call me back. They never called back. I only heard back the next day to collect payment. America's Garage Doors did get the new one installed, but there was too much confusion and an hour late to a two hour window appointment was unacceptable. Mark K. read more

This company recently repaired my garage door and installed a new motor and were outstanding to work with. The customer service was top notch- professional, polite, thorough and tried to help me save money where they could. They even went above and beyond with little extras just to make sure it was perfect. I highly recommend them to anyone in Jacksonville who needs garage door assistance. I can assure you they'll take good care of you. read more
