    Please beware. Do not use My Father's Son's Fencing. Learn from our extremely negative…read moreexperience. We contacted Wade Tachney from My Father's Son Fencing Co. on May 25, 2020 about providing an estimate to install a decorative style fence at our newly constructed home. We had not moved in yet and wanted to get a jump on the fence installation, knowing it may take some time to order, etc. Wade was quick to respond, showed up the next day to measure, provide the estimate, and ask for a 50% deposit, which we happily paid based on his quick response and promises to begin install within the next few weeks. From that day forward, we never heard from him again unless we were the ones to reach out. Anything we learned from Wade, ever, was because we reached out to him. His first (May 2020) and last (March 2021) response to us were literally the same message (we have the documentation and timeline), "let me check with the supplier and get back to you." In the 10 months of waiting, he never ever reached out, he never followed up or followed through, he never apologized for any delay, just blamed others. On March 25, 2021 (10 months later), we cancelled our order and asked for a refund. Wade pushed back saying he couldn't issue a refund and listed some excuses. It was not until we threatened legal action (something we researched, and were absolutely prepared to do) that he finally agreed to a refund. And, true to form, never reached out to us with updates on the refund process, we had to send multiple messages each day until he finally took care of it. Even then, there was no communication, just a deposit into our account. Total lack of communication, no understanding of basic/fundamental customer service, collected money in good faith that he and his "business" would deliver a product, then disappeared. This is not someone who should be in business. Please, please save yourself months of frustration and do not even engage My Father's Son Fence Co.
