Every time I do a title transfer after buying a new to me vehicle, they always try to charge me full NEW retail sales tax no matter how old or the condition. For example, I bought an old 1970's small aluminum boat for $200. The person behind the counter said the boat wasn't in their system and they looked up a brand new one so they're going to have to charge me the sales tax as if I bought it brand new. Yeah, tax would be $400+!!!! More than what I paid for the actual boat. Same deal for the $1500 motorcycle I bought. Their "system" didn't have my model either. Mind you, the motorcycle didn't even work. Was told I was going to be charged the value of the higher priced model in their system and the price and condition did not matter. Just imagine buying a totaled car at auction and then paying tax for way more the vehicle's worth. Go somewhere where they know a little better. read more

If you only have saturdays to do your tabs this place is perfect because it opens 9-5:30 so you dont have to rush. Plenty of parking,as this is located in a pretty great area next to a Fred Meyer, you can imagine the size of the parkingn Service was fast, staff was friendly and seemed to realy be enjoying the job. read more

JC is outstanding, big thank you for making my life as painless as possible with a screwed up title I got from a seller of a vehicle. Walking me through the process and explaining what is required. Very responsive, caring and honest. I discovered this agency because of their operating hours are so much better than all of the others around... starting out with the only one I could reach a after 2pm on a Saturday, turned out to be the best service I've every had from a local licensing agency. I moved to Hawaii and their DOL said I didn't have the most recent title. With my Washington registration coming up for renewal and a quickly approaching deadline in Hawaii to complete a transfer, I called Ez Auto for a Quick Title. I talked to Jim, and he verified I indeed had the most recent title based on the information I provided from the paper title. However, he said he would call the Washington DOL to confirm for me. I've ordered my tabs here twice, recently needed more vehicle stuff and was helped quickly. hen I called one time, the gentleman on the phone answered my questions and also informed me of additional things I need before making my drive there, so I only had to make one trip. The only thing I had a "grr" feeling about was a young lady who helped me had a "curt attitude and wasn't very pleasant. Maybe a lesson in manners, otherwise never a problem so far. read more

Made a bad review a few years back. Just updated from 1 star to 4. This office has much friendlier, professional staff now than in the past.

Go somewhere else. The male employee acts like everyone is bothering him, but at least he doesn't add unnecessary snark and smart-ass comments to whomever he's helping. The female employee (masculine butch with a horrible tan and ugly home perm) is much worse. She needs to be fired. I hope she reads this someday because she needs to know that she's working in a customer service field, not a customers-service-me field. I came there with a neat folder with all the documents they needed inside, explained very nicely what I needed, and handed her the folder. She very rudely said "Um, I need some paperwork?". I had to take the folder back, grab the documents, and hand them to her. God forbid she do any work at her job. It shouldn't even be her job anymore. I'm extremely understanding of people who work with customers on a daily basis, it's what I do as my career and I'm very good at it. But I cannot understand why this woman acts the way she does. Came in to renew my tabs, and was told I had to come back so I wouldn't have to pay for a full year. That's fine, my problem. The lady who helped me was rude but I ignored it and came back promptly at 9:00 am on the 11th like I was told. Was helped by another lady and she told me that I couldn't renew them, until the next day, because they wouldn't process. Why was I told to come back on the 11th, if that in-fact was not the case. Seems like they need someone who knows what is going on to help. Shout out the only other lady who wasn't helping me at all to even apologize for now having me come back a third time. It's frustrating to go somewhere out I was recommended to, and only have it be a crappy experience and no remorse from anyone when they were the ones giving me the wrong information. Hopefully management can address this. read more

this place is the biggest ripe off they dont know what they are doing and lie if there are wrong and you have to pay for there mistakes they told me there was no forever plates for a trailer so i got the regular ones . i found out the were wrong and they refused to make it write so i canceled the check and instead of making it write they charged me fines to cover up there mistake so only do business with honest co not this one read more
