Denise is a professional, so she shared, before my treatment began, that she would be praying and discussing Jesus with me during the appointment. Denise has much experience with bleaching and waxing so she also told me which products she was using and how they worked on my skin, but we mostly discussed God. While the products were working, Denise shared information about her ministry, her past, and offered me trauma-healing services. She shared incredible stories of helping non-christian clients find Jesus Christ and accept him into their hearts during their waxing or bleaching services. She even offered to help me heal from abuse trauma with scripture, if I had any. I believe Denise to be the only intimate area bleaching service provider to also engage you in the word of Jesus Christ and share testimonials from other non-christian clients that she saved during their appointments! Based on the reviews, I picked Lee. I got there on time, she was finishing with another customer. I didn't have to wait. She gave me all the options asking me to pick which one i preferred. I didn't know what to expect and was hoping I'll get to hear a bit from her about the process. But I undeserved it might not be part of her job to do that. Most people getting their nails done probably know all about it. First timers in this world, might be a bit lost, but even with that, it was still a really fun experience. The atmosphere was really great and the music was soothing and enjoyable. I recognized a few melodies I knew. It helped make me feel more comfortable. I told Lee I wanted the exact style she just completed with the customer next to me. It was really pretty. She said okay. And got started cleaning my nails but told me she couldn't finish because she had something else to do and didn't want me to wait. While I appreciate the thought, I was slightly annoyed at the sudden change of plans, especially since my appointment was made an entire week ago and my request was pretty clear since then. So Hanna came to replace her. She was really patient and attentive. I was hesitant because what I was looking at was not the exact style I told Lee I wanted. But it was pretty close and not bad at all. Hanna helped me get the appropriate shade I wanted and didn't mind making corrections. She was an angel. I ended up with a result I really really REALLY loved, but that was still different from what I saw Lee do to the previous customer. I wished they would have explained to me, "you want sns, but if you also want the same exact style as this previous customer, you might have to go with acrylic or whatever it was that the lady had." But ending up with a different style might be because the person who ended up doing my nails didn't see what the previous customer had. I do not know much about gel, acrylic, sns, etc. (I usually let my nails grow a little, take care of them, and use my usual Sally Hansen at home). A little more guidance might have helped. As I said overall, I'm still super happy with the final look. I waited 5 weeks to write my review to decide if I still like my nails after this long. And guess what? Yes I still love it! I would definitely still recommend the place. If you are already used to getting your nails done professionally, you will truly love what they do. They are knowledgeable. If you are new to this world, i would recommend that you do your research beforehand and know exactly what you want. Ask them questions as well "this is the style I want, can I get it exactly this way if I choose sns? Or acrylic? Etc. Don't assume. Also the price might have changed. I paid $55 for the sns on both ends, but she did add a tip to one finger: the nail on the ring finger on my left hand was shorter than the rest of my hands. Another customer who came halfway through my dip was attended to prior to my partner, and I had to request his manicure again. I paid $45 for my dip manicure, yet it did not include any cuticle or hand care. I had specifically requested a dip manicure, and was not told that cuticle care was separate, nor was I asked if I wanted this. Additionally, when I had picked out my color, the actual dip color was bright purple (distinctly different than the fuschia on the sample; nail attendant said likely the sample was just old). When asked if I liked the color, and I identified it was quite different, a new color dip was then just added on top, leading to very thick nails and splotchy color up close. They were too thick and unfortunately have started chipping just after 1 week. I am very disappointed in my experience here. TLDR: cuticle care comes separate and you must ask for it. My experience showed subpar customer attention and nail service, with cut cuticles, thickly applied dip, and quickly chipped dip (1 week). Would not recommend.
