There were no patients there when I arrived and they left me sitting in a patient room with nausea fighting back vomiting for over an hour after they took my swabs for COVID and flu testing. I only heard one other patient while I was there. They got really hurried to help me get out of there when I finally had to leave the exam room to find the toilet to take a puke. Find somewhere else to get care if it is at all urgent, because nobody who works here gives a flying flock.

I do not regret spending over $1,000 (insurance won't reimburse anything for non-FDA approved treatments). Nor do I regret all the drives to Findlay and feeling absolutely miserable with hot flashes for the 14 weeks that I tried Stan's various concoctions because I met some absolutely wonderful people. These folks here are the sweetest, so so soooo kind! For example, when they overcharged my credit card and I later caught it and brought it to their attention, they immediately credited my money back. Yay! When in their pharmacy I had them double-check to make sure they really gave me the corrected prescription and they didn't, they immediately admitted their mistake and had me wait while they prepared what I should have received. Yay! The two times Stan couldn't meet me as scheduled, they called me the next day to make another appointment and up until when they had to tell me they could not help me, they always took my phone calls or responded to my emails. Yay! Ultimately, after 14 weeks and $1,000 Stan said he couldn't help so I called the Cleveland Clinic. I had a 20-minute telehealth visit with an OBGYN and they called in two prescriptions. Within four days my hot flashes stopped, truly like a miracle! I don't think I would have found the Cleveland Clinic, or known how easy it is to deal with them (and insurance covered 100%) had I not gone through all of this hell with Scarbrough's.

I miss a pharmacy feel where they know and seem to really care for my son and family. The pharmacy in GA asked how he was doing every time I called for a refill and went above and beyond to make sure we had our medicine in a timely manner. It also takes so long to get compounded medications here, and we live 30 minutes away so when the medications are ready on the day they say after 3, that basically means I have to wait an extra day to get the medications. I know it is a bigger town so the personal touch isn't going to be the same. I just expect too much I guess. I just told an employee my 4 year old is being admitted in the hospital and they seemed more irritated that I was calling to make sure I can get the meds sooner. I've been taught in customer service to care about people. I've worked many customer service positions, and feel more training is needed here. I mean you are working in a field where people may truly be battling things, and I just feel it takes more care and compassion. Just my feelings, it seems others may have had better experiences. Perhaps it is just that the other pharmacy was the most amazing place. Eric (the GA pharmacist) would have said he is sorry to hear that, and that he would try to get those prepared for me as soon as possible. Just miss customer service like that.

It had been stressful to say the least. Most of our time had been spent in the rental car driving to see family from Columbus to Springfield to New Hampshire. By the last week I was drained. For the past 3+ years I have been fighting what had only in the last 3 months been diagnosed as "Valley Fever". It is a fungal infection common to the desert and areas of California. Doctors in our home area of Arizona, who should have been familiar with the symptoms, failed to correctly identify the problem. My wife, recognizing the fact that I was in no shape to go on, parked my butt in the emergency room at Blanchard Valley. The people there were great even though they were unfamiliar with "Valley Fever". Dr. Grace, the admitting doctor told us that "Blanchard Valley was truly blessed to have one of the best infectious disease doctors in the country". I'm thinking, "ok, bring him on, I want to meet this guy". Later that evening Dr. Ratnasamy came into my room and I realized that the admitting doctor knew what he was talking about. I have never felt so comfortable speaking to a doctor for the first time. You could tell that, maybe he doesn't see patients everyday with "Valley Fever" but he sure knew a lot about it. He took over my treatment and I saw him 3 more times before I was discharged. Actually he was the last person I saw that day. He gave me a full set of doctors notes and test results so I could take the back for my Arizona doctors. Ok, this impressed me. What really blew me away was the phone call I got from him last night, over a week since we arrived back home and almost 2 weeks since he had seen me in the hospital in Findlay. How many doctors would take the time to follow up on a patient that chances are they would never see again? Most around here don't even if they are your primary care doctor. Dr Ratnasamy said he was just closing out my file and wanted to check on how I was doing and what my local doctors had said. In my opinion, that's dedication. Dedication to what he does and who he does it for. The world needs more people like him.

They have helped diagnose symptomatic tonsil/adenoid problems for 2 of our kids, made room for adult teeth in our son's mouth with an expander, guided a permanent tooth down that was growing the wrong way in the roof of our daughter's mouth (sparing her from needing an implant), filled some cavities, and fixed some sensitivity issues with receding gums. What an excellent and skilled dentist!! All of our kids look forward to going to Dr. Davis' office to have their check-ups and cleanings. Throughout all of our care, Dr. Davis and his staff have been very knowledgeable, competent, trustworthy, and kind. When making decisions, Dr. Davis was never pushy but instead let us know all our options and what he would do for his own children. To top it all off, Dr. Davis has the friendliest staff and short wait times!

I called at 5:00pm and explained that my toddler had an impacted molar and was causing her pain. I asked if there was any way they could squeeze her in the next day due to insurance issues. I was put on a brief hold and when the receptionist came back, she said Dr. Davis said we could come in right then so she wouldn't be in pain over night. Wow! I have worked in multiple offices all over the country and let me tell you, not many providers would do this! When we arrived the front office staff greeted us warmly and the playhouse in the waiting room was an instant hit with my daughter. The wait was minimal; 10 minutes at most. Once in the exam room, the dental hygienists & Dr. Davis were GREAT with my daughter who did not want to open her mouth. They demonstrated patience with her, which I was extremely grateful for. My daughter's tooth ended up not being impacted. I was relieved but oh my, did I feel silly! The staff were extremely kind and said there was no reason to be embarrassed. We will definitely be returning to Dr. Davis' office.
