Dr. Raymond Ruckman is absolutely amazing. He is highly knowledgeable, checked everything thoroughly, and took his time explaining the results. Even though I only came in for a routine prescription, Dr. Ruckman dedicated a significant amount of time to my care and caught an underlying issue that needed addressing. His assistants were also outstanding and incredibly supportive throughout the process. I called to see what Eagle Vision could do for me after giving me the incorrect prescription from the beginning & they are trying to charge me $55 JUST TO LOOK AT MY GLASSES & only to compare the glasses with their prescription they had wrote me, instead of make it right & write me a new prescription. They gave me no option for them to make it right, other than charge me more $ just to even LOOK at the glasses with THEIR faulty prescription. ABSOLUTELY ridiculous. I live in Mammoth, so not only did I already have to drive 3 hours, pay a lot of $ for gas, & the prescription itself. BUT now that my insurance was already used up for the next year, I have to go elsewhere & pay more $ out of pocket for another ophthalmologist to make Eagle Vision's screw up right. 100% do NOT recommend. Let's be realistic, if your needs are more than setting up/cancelling an appointment, or a quick question, you should go in person. Ample parking, facility is clean and well kept. I mentioned as to what I get that my insurance would cover. They mentioned that my insurance does not cover anti- glare and or polycarbonate lenses.Paid my co pay $199.00 and that's it. Plus they made the glasses in the adjoining building. Approx 1.5 hours NOW Pritchett Eye Care; I asked what is covered for one pair of progressive eyeglasses. They mentioned I can get the anti-glare scratch resistant and free frame. Covered by my insurance. The co pay is about $125.00. I asked. Is that it no other payment? She stated yes. Because if there were other charges. I would have left. I received the statement to pay $360.00. WHAT! I have called them. I complained she mentioned that There was an error in the billing department through a third party. So, to disregard that statement. Then they sent me another $91.00. What happened is that they went ahead and added the anti-glare and scratch resistance lenses and tried billing my insurance. My insurance rejected it. And now they are trying to bill me for it. Bottom lineI am going back to Eyemart Express.
