This place is awesome for customer service. I have purchased several frames here and if I had any issues they fixed them right away or replaced the frames! This is my 2nd go around for frames and lenses. The frames are SO reasonably priced for super cute frames. I'm into bling, found a frame for 75.00 and love them! If you don't need anything special on your lenses other than glare coating, you can get your glasses in an hour. I do require the blue screen coating on my computer glasses and they do that here, but it's about 10 days to get your lenses back. They often have specials on frames so remember to ask what they are. There is an optometrist on site most days, so you can also schedule your eye exam here. All in all this is a great place for your glasses needs, very reasonably priced for super cute frames. read more

Great folks up front and good service....but very poor quality on frames and lenses. I had problems the first time and again the second time. There were repeated issues which translates into several trips to their store! The "Lens manager" that I never was able to speak to for various reasons refused to fix the problems I was having. They couldn't seem to keep the lenses from falling out of the frames they made up and they never got the prescription right. I have attempted to make several appointments. Due to low staff, they no longer offer "walk-in" appointments. However, they continue to keep walk in availability marketing displayed on their window and website. I find that very misleading knowing they haven't offered walk-in service since early last year. Another disappointment is their VERY unfriendly desk/appointment scheduler. The times I have called she has been very curt and inconvenienced as if I called her on her personal phone. I will NEVER call back and attempt another appointment. I have no desire to experience her attitude after her first few impressions of her lack of telephone etiquette. read more

Good luck getting any kind of good customer service they might have one or two associates in there that are halfway decent but the vast majority of the associates are pretty much useless. They would rather sit the round and bs with each other than actually help a customer. Three of them decided to go outside and have a smoke break and left me completely unattended in the store while I was looking for glasses and I had already asked for help. Good luck returning the glasses too if you have an issue. Fair warning if you have any returns you will be blacklisted from the store. I have to say I have been going to this place for 3 years now and the level of service never ceases to impress me each year I visit! The staff is always friendly and I have never been greeted so nicely by so many employees ever in my life! I got hi's and thanked coming and going. It was really something mind blowing to experience! The doctor himself, Conley Marcum Jr. was very thorough and professional! The exam is not the cheapest I have ever had, but it is reasonably priced at $160 and it's a complete exam with pictures of the inside of your eye, peripheral and a pressure test. I bought an expense pair of prescription sun glasses for this store 14 months ago. I broke them out of their case for this summers sunny season and noticed funny little striations on the sides of the lens. I took them in and they declined to address the situation because the warranty was two months past. This is clearly a manufacturing issue. These glasses were always taken the best care of. Our first time at a quick service eyeglass purveyor started off very well when we met Allison D who invited my husband to browse all the frames. She kept a discreet eye on our progress and only approached when it appeared we were deciding among just a few pairs. She was so helpful and knowledgeable that he decided to get sunglasses as well. About an hour later, both were ready and Allison did a great job adjusting them. Price was reasonable. I was so impressed that I decided to replace my sunglasses. I was disappointed to learn the office does not routinely stock polarized lens blanks for sunglasses. It was just luck that my husband was able to get the only two in the store for same day service. Otherwise, I would have given five stars based on our experience with Allison. read more

Like most people, I absolutely dread getting new eyeglasses. It's a process, it takes time, and it normally involves being told you need an updated eye exam when you just had one. I went in to Eyemart today with the sole mission to order new glasses. I browsed various pairs of glasses and could not choose a pair because I found too many of the options adorable. The manager, Tara helped me browse and pick out pairs and gave me her suggestions for which pair looked good with my face shape. I felt bad taking up her time, but she was genuinely helpful and did not make me feel rushed at all. Finally, I made a decision and she rang me up for my purchase. Tara explained that my employer's insurance covered one pair of free glasses. She told me exactly what my insurance covered for one pair (plus the bells and whistles) and gave me a quote on my out-of-pocket price if I were to commit to the upgrades on the non-covered pair. I chose to not upgrade the second pair since my first pair was set with the anti-glare and scratch resistant package. She didn't try to up-sell me or convince me to buy something that I didn't need. I paid for my purchase and Tara advised that they would text me when my glasses were ready, giving me the estimated time of about an hour. Within 30 minutes I received the text that my glasses were available for pick-up. I couldn't believe i was even considering ordering glasses online and waiting 7 days to receive them before coming in to Eyemart. I came back to pick them up and again, received friendly and prompt service. My glasses were fit to my face and were absolutely perfect! I haven't felt this excited about glasses in a long time (maybe ever). Honestly, I am so glad that I randomly discovered Eyemart and praise their extensive eyeglass selection and outstanding customer service. I will most certainly be visiting again for all my future eye glass purchases. Thank you. read more

Went there Oct 16 to get my glasses repaired and to replace my sunglasses. New glass frames cost nothing - thank goodness I had a warranty. The other pair just needed a screw put in. I went in to simply fix my glasses and possibly consider getting a new pair if the price was right. I was helped by Holly and she was absolutely fabulous! I didn't feel pressured into buying, she was super patient and helpful. I ended up getting two pairs with prescription and did not break the bank! I'm still testing out the new glasses but I was reassured I can always come back just incase and they'll refit the lenses or frames whatever to make me happy. My son and I have been going to the Anchorage location for a number of years now. Dr. Conley's office is very helpful, the Dr. is funny and explains everything well, and they work with our insurance. On the Eyemart side there is an employee named Holly that absolutely wonderful. We are in there once a year for an hour or so picking out frames yet she remembers us both and makes us feel welcome. She is very knowledgeable and warm, she has a gift for helping you pick frames that look best on you, and we always leave there smiling and happy with our choices. I stopped in and ordered a set of glasses through my insurance. Went home and gf nixed the frames chosen. Special Order. I called the same day and canceled the order. I was assured my insurance wasn't billed. A few days later I get an email regarding pending benefits claim. I called, spoke with manager, who assured me again my order was canceled and my insurance benefits weren't being taken by eyemart. A few days later I receive a call that my glasses are in. I call and am informed that the order was too late called in to be canceled but that my benefits weren't billed. Don't worry. Today I receive an explanation of benefits paid out to eyemart taking my vision coverage for the next years. And now I have to fight to get the money they took from my insurance for my canceled glasses trying to force me to purchase through them since the benefits were paid out. Scammers. No, No, No!! What a scam!! I went there to get the special that they were advertising all over the internet and TV. It was "2 Pairs of Progressive Lenses for $76.92". Once I got there and picked out two pairs of frames, I was told that I had to pick frames from their special selection. When I was shown to this selection, it had only 18 pairs of frames. 18!! That may sound like a lot, but they have well over 900+ frames on display. The 18 I had to choose from were the ugliest, most out-of-date, weirdest shaped frames I have ever seen, and I refused to buy them. I was then told that I could buy some of the other frames, but would have to pay full price. The other frames started at about $90 dollars, and went up from there. Therefore, I would have to pay $180 for two frames, which is well above the advertised special I came in for. Then they said I would have to pay and additional $80 FOR EACH FRAME to have progressive lenses put in them. Now I'm looking at paying $340, and I only came in for the $76 special. Keep in mind, this is all BEFORE they tried to up sale me with overpriced tinting and anti scratch coatings. As a 2nd option, I offered to bring in 2 pairs of my own frames to have lenses put in them. I was told that they can't do that because they can't guarantee the quality of the frames, to which I answered, "you can guarantee these frames, I bought them from you" Still, they would not give me the $76.92 advertised sale price. TO MAKE A LONG STORY SHORT, THE ONLY WAY ANY CUSTOMER IS GOING TO GET THE ADVERTISED SALE OF $76.92 IS TO SELECT FRAMES FROM THE 18 THEY HAVE IN THE SPECIAL SECTION. If you like weird colored, out-of-date, oddly shaped glasses, and you're lucky enough to have one of these frames fit your face, by all means, waste your time and stop by there. read more
