I met with Tiffany today and had a very awkward and less than pampering experience. During my…read morechemical peel she washed my face, slapped the peel on and sent me on my way. She also got solution in my left eye which stung very badly. To make things worse she kept cracking jokes, calling me a one eye momma multiple times. Tonight I'm experiencing some blurriness in the eye she got chemicals in and I have an appointment with my optometrist on Monday. If there is damage to my eye, it is not going to be very funny. She also didn't apply the chemical peel in some areas of my face and I had to return back and have her add the peel in that specific area. Upon my arrival she stated that she had just purchased a new bottle of this specific peel because a previous customer complained that the same peel applied didn't work. She mentioned she was unaware the chemical peel had a shelf life. I left feeling uneasy and disappointed at spending over $100. I've been starring at my face all day and the only thing changing is 3 red spots on my right cheek. The rest of my face is exactly how it is any other day. There is no tightness or redness or flaking. Absolutely nothing. Needless to say, I am contacting the owner of this establishment on Monday and will expect a full refund on my Amex because ripping people off and trying to blind them is against the law. I picked this place based off of the reviews I found on Yelp. Tiffany told me that she has persuaded people in leaving reviews by offering them discounts. That's not very authentic. Edit: 5/23/17 I was looking through my past reviews and realized I never came back to let you all know that I got my money back.

Just finished my microblading course at Collett Academy and it was amazing!!!!…read moreTracey and Nancy are fantastic... Incredible instruction and hands on teaching. I am tired but it's definitely a good tired! It's a super intense course but in the most rewarding way possible! Tracey has very high standards and expectations in an unregulated industry where there are far to many undereducated people hitting the scene. Some of these others micro schools are graduating people in 2 days! That is completely impossible to do in a responsible way and totally incomprehensible to me. Tracey does not turn out students whose knowledge and talent she doesn't feel comfortable attaching her name and reputation to. She makes sure you know the craft as a graduate of Collett, which in turn gives confidence to her graduates. I can't imagine that a person could understand what they need to know in 2 days. I feel very blessed to have discovered her school and ask you to please, please be careful of who you decide to get your education through. You get what you pay for and Tracey is the best. It's worth doing your homework to know you'll be coming out at the top of your game!

Understanding both microblading and machine work was important to me for mastering PMU and gaining the ability to deliver a range of services that best fit individual needs. I selected Fine Arts because Tracey has over 20 years experience and a wealth of artistic knowledge. She shares the intricacies of the industry that otherwise take time, trial and error. The classes are small and she sets you up to succeed in your career. Her courses included a year of support and an open door course policy. I was able to continue my education while working on clientele during my apprenticeship with her. Fine Arts is a beautiful, clean and welcoming space. I highly recommend Tracey and the studio to anyone looking for PMU education or personal services.
