My experience with her recently has changed however…read more Shortly after I got my second full set (3 years ago) I have been unhappy with the tail end of one of my eyebrows being noticeably thicker. I've always just used makeup to even them out. Since its started to fade, it's gotten even more noticeable and bothersome, especially in pictures, as one eyebrow is consequently more arched. I never knew you could remove microblade until recently when my friend told me. As soon as I learned about this option, I asked Tia if she could help me and remove a couple strokes towards the tail end of my eyebrow. She immediately tried to discredit my concerns and said it looks like this because I haven't maintained my annual "color boosts" appointments. She told me I must sleep on the thinner eyebrow, which is not true. There has never been ink that thick on the other eyebrow, and it's always been slightly thinner. She recommended getting a full set WITH removal at the same time, but warned me that it will possibly remove new ink as well so I will have to come back to get it re-done shortly after. I asked her if I could just get it removed first, then come back for the full set after - that way I dont have to damage my skin back to back and risk my eyebrows looking messed up. She said if I do that route, it will be $300 per session and will probably consist of multiple sessions. $300 is what she charges for 2 FULL eyebrow removals and I only need a fraction of that. I would've paid half, but $300 is greedy! I can get 3 laser removal sessions for $100! Clearly she was trying to manipulate me into getting a full set so she can get more money upfront, without regards for my concerns. Why would I want to rush a process that is PERMANENTLY on my face? Overall I truly felt that she only cares about money, not the long term satisfaction of a customer that has never let anyone else touch their eyebrows. I felt penalized for not keeping up with "annual color boosts". I would have continued being her customer too, but I expect someone who actually cares about my concerns and doesn't try to minimize and invalidate them - even if they seem small or stupid to you. It's MY face and I notice this eyebrow every day. Very disappointing.

For years, I had always highlighted my own hair because, well, I was poor. Most of the time my hair turned out decent and was a color I liked but was never healthy. I was terrified to go have my hair dyed again in fear that it would all fall out or that I would have to chop it off in order to let itself become repaired. I waited about six months and walked around with horrible, fried, ridiculously too long rooted hair until I finally got the guts to go have it professional dyed. I went to a salon here in the Valley and told them my story. When I walked out, my hair was worse than when I walked in! Orange and fried!! I was mortified. I had always had nice, natural-looking blonde hair and now it was an awful, awful shade of orange. My mom came to my rescue and found a Yelp deal for the salon Heather previously worked for. I booked it as soon as I felt my hair was safe to dye again and was assigned to Heather. Heather is a miracle worker. My hair not only felt healthy but was actually blonde again! The first appointment I had a conditioning treatment, a color, and a cut. The difference was amazing. Over the next few months, Heather and I worked to get my hair back to normal. The color is perfect and has been since the second time she colored it and that little patch of dead, fried hair is finally getting better through treatments and slowly trimming it without chopping off my hair. I have complete trust in Heather. I was always so nervous when I would walk into a salon because most often, I would spend a ton of money and would never be satisfied.
