Very unprofessional. My mother was wanting to get microblading for her eyebrows as her eyesight close-up has diminished. We sent pictures, as the message requests with an explanation of what she was wanting, No response. My mother sent her several messages asking when she could come in for a consult and set up an appt. She was ignored and never contacted. Very unprofessional and rude. You don't ask people to send pictures and then ignore them. Common courtesy if you aren't interested is to atleast respond. Before I get to my awesome review of Heather, I have to give a little back story so you understand how far my hair has come and what great work she does! For years, I had always highlighted my own hair because, well, I was poor. Most of the time my hair turned out decent and was a color I liked but was never healthy. The last time I dyed my hair, I COMPLETELY fried it. I mean, a little 1-inch patch of hair sticking out of the top of my head, breaking off every time I touched it, FRIED. I was terrified to go have my hair dyed again in fear that it would all fall out or that I would have to chop it off in order to let itself become repaired. I waited about six months and walked around with horrible, fried, ridiculously too long rooted hair until I finally got the guts to go have it professional dyed. I went to a salon here in the Valley and told them my story. When I walked out, my hair was worse than when I walked in! Orange and fried!! I was mortified. I had always had nice, natural-looking blonde hair and now it was an awful, awful shade of orange. My mom came to my rescue and found a Yelp deal for the salon Heather previously worked for. I booked it as soon as I felt my hair was safe to dye again and was assigned to Heather. Heather is a miracle worker. My hair not only felt healthy but was actually blonde again! The first appointment I had a conditioning treatment, a color, and a cut. The difference was amazing. Over the next few months, Heather and I worked to get my hair back to normal. The color is perfect and has been since the second time she colored it and that little patch of dead, fried hair is finally getting better through treatments and slowly trimming it without chopping off my hair. I have complete trust in Heather. I was always so nervous when I would walk into a salon because most often, I would spend a ton of money and would never be satisfied. Every time I leave Heather, I am very satisfied. Heather is a great person and really listens to what you want and gives advice and suggestions as to what she thinks would be great for you. If you asked me a few years ago if I'd be going to an "organic" hair studio...I'd tell ya you were crazy! ;) A good kind of crazy, of course! I just never thought that organic and hair coloring or hair products would go hand in hand. Heather has proven otherwise. I met Heather at her previous hair salon...after the person that was supposed to cut and color my hair was unavailable to perform the service and the salon failed to call and let me know that person was no longer available to perform said services. I just so happened to call to confirm my appointment the day before (made months earlier) only to find that the person who normally did my hair was not there indefinitely....I think Heather must've been standing there because I heard her say, "When does she want to come in? I'll fit her in." Now. THAT is GOOD customer service! I was in a panic because I had a special occasion coming up, my gray was coming through and I just needed HELP! I came in for cut and color the next day and Heather did her best to "fix" my problem hair. It was a no-brainer that I'd follow her when she opened her own salon. Seriously. I am so excited for Heather - this is such a wonderful opportunity and she has some fabulous space! You can tell she that she put a lot of thought and care into how she designed her studio... As for my hair...before I started seeing Heather, my hair was over processed and I had a pretty bad hair cut. Heather did her best to start fixing the cut - with me doing my part in growing it out - and she also fixed my color. In fact, I just recently went from highlights to a dark brown - much closer to my natural color - and I love it! I get tons of compliments on the color. Since seeing Heather, my hair is healthier and my cuts ALWAYS last! I just got a compliment a few weeks ago before my scheduled hair cut - which tells me that the hair cut was a good one because it grew out really well. Heather is also a perfectionist and she is honest. She won't send you out with a bad cut or color or with something that doesn't look good on you. She takes the time to educate herself about organic colors and organic living in general. The dye that she uses doesn't burn my scalp and it does last...I was worried it wouldn't, but it does. The first time I went to Heather Dill for partial highlights she asked me what I wanted to do with my hair. She took into consideration my skin tone, eye color, current style, and requests to make a recommendation on what to do with my hair. She listens to what you want and discusses it with you before doing anything. Throughout the entire time she was highlighting and cutting my hair she explained what she was doing and how the organic products differ from most salon products. She was extremely professional and knowledgeable which made me much less skeptical about the idea of organic hair color. The organic process is different than any salon experience I've had, but not necessarily in a bad way. The lack of harsh fumes and burning/tingling was definitely a positive. After my hair was dried I was pleasantly surprised to realize it was the perfect shade of blonde for me. I would have never guessed organic hair coloring to be more effective than traditional hair coloring. My hair is actually softer at the roots than it was when I walked in. After going to Heather now for over a year I can say that the organic hair coloring is AWESOME and gives my hair a radiant blonde color that looks natural and doesn't fade too much over time. Not to mention my hair is softer where it's only been highlighted by the organic lightening products.
