I've gone to many other places, but Dr Todd was the only one that got me the perfect contact lenses match. I've mentioned the discomfits I've had with other brand to other optometrist locations with no avail to having the right fit of contacts so I've had to wear glasses most of my life. One day I decided to switch over to Shettle vision with recommendation from my sister. My first visit I told doc what discomforts I've had with contacts and would like to have contact so can do activities without the worries of my glasses flying off my face. Doc Todd suggested a brand I try out. Let me tell you, it only took one visit for me to get the right contacts without any discomfort. This is why I've been going to Shettle Vision for years. I've even suggested my work colleagues to go to him.

Every visit ends up being hours long, planned for that today. But this was going to be all day and not be able to get glasses which is the whole point of the visit. Why wouldn't you call the patients scheduled and explain the situation? People take time off work. It's just a bit disrespectful of people's time and effort. I was contacted by the office after this review. Appreciate that and the explanation of the unfortunate timeline of events. I have bumped this up a star (ok) but overall my experience was still what it was. I explained that this is an experience of over 10+yrs of my wife and I as patients. I was told the practice no longer operated as it once did which is great but not reflected the day of my visit. Willing to give them another chance and again appreciate them reaching out to me.

I printed my target (on-line glasses order) and went back to store to get missing numbers to order or just order them in the store. Fine with me. They will not give you those numbers unless you order in-store. Well fine but the price for the same glasses was 300.00 more. Over double. So I asked can I just get my PD numbers I can order online thru target? Nope. You must pay the in-store price to get those numbers. Even though it is still target, you will not get the info you need unless you pay the higher price. This seems very shady to me. Why wasn't I told this? Now I have a useless prescription unless I pay double by ordering in store. Not a great look target. I feel duped!

We see her in the Target Superstore located at Gulf to Bay and Rt.19 in Clearwater. She takes her time while at your appointment and makes you feel so comfortable and thoroughly explains the many steps to determine the best prescription for your eye glasses.
