An Experience That Redefines Optical Service I recently had…read morethe pleasure of visiting the Warby Parker on Walnut Street, and the experience was truly phenomenal--it was genuinely inspiring and sets a new benchmark for customer service. From the moment I walked in, the entire team demonstrated an intentional commitment to excellence. They were attentive, incredibly knowledgeable, and made the selection process effortless and enjoyable. They didn't just sell me glasses; they provided an experience where I felt completely cared for and valued. The value here is astounding. I received beautifully crafted glasses at a truly wonderful price, but what made the experience transformative was the speed. I was amazed at how quickly my glasses were ready, far exceeding any expectation I had based on previous optical experiences. The seamless combination of expert care, incredible affordability, and swift turnaround time is a testament to the fact that top-tier service doesn't have to break the bank or take weeks. This team is executing their mission flawlessly. If you are looking for new eyewear and desire a positive, efficient, and genuinely exceptional experience, look no further than the Warby Parker on Walnut Street. They are setting the standard for how this business should be run.

I love Warby Parker as a brand. Their store is simple and chic. Their glasses are affordable, they…read morehave many options, and you can try on anything on in store. I've been going to their different locations for years including this one. This visit had poor customer service however and I will not be going to this spot again. No one greeted me and I was in the store for about 30 minutes and it was not crowded. I purchased 2 pairs of glasses and had to approach the worker myself as well as ask her about their current promotion. The other two staffers on the floor joked and laughed at something they were viewing on a tablet almost the whole time. Not the customer service this place used to be. Try the Cherry Hill or Ardmore location. Much better service. Hoping this was an off day for them. 3 stars is mostly for product and store layout.

UPDATE: After reading my original review the practice manager, Kim, reached out to me to rectify…read morethe situation for me. Please know that this office cares and wants to be sure the patients have a positive experience. I appreciated hearing from Kim and her proposed solutions (of which she offered many). ORIGINAL: I had been going here for several years. My first year I got Dr Ward and he was great. Unfortunately, in the subsequent years I was passed off to other newer doctors so I missed the continuity in care. On my last visit, a new doctor recommended I try a "mono vision" approach for my multi focal contacts. I was open to it as she said I could "try it out" since it will take a while to get used to. I was told that if I don't like it to "just call" for an updated prescription. It didn't work for me. When I tried to get an updated prescription (around 119 days later) I was told that I was "outside of my 90 days" and would need to come back in for another eye exam. Of course, I would have to pay out-of-pocket for the exam (my insurance only covers 1 exam per calendar year). I was never told of this 90 day window at any point in conversation with the physician or staff nor is it listed anywhere in the paperwork I was given. I feel this is disingenuous and will therefore be looking for a new eye doctor.

I was referred to this establishment by a co-worker. My initial encounter was good. My eye exam was…read morethorough and the staff was pleasant. However, I recently had two instances that were not respectable of my time. A new staff member called on a Thursday to tell me my glasses were ready and that they could be picked up that day or the following day Friday between 10am-5pm. To my surprise, the establishment was not open at 10:45am which was after the said time of 10am. I waited a half an hour and had to leave. I was contacted after leaving a voicemail, and as a courtesy, my glasses were forwarded via courier to my place of work. I then decided to schedule an appointment for my daughter, but the website was inconsistent with the actual hours of operation. A call was placed to schedule an appointment for my daughter and reached the new staff member that had previously provided incorrect hours of operation. However, I proceeded to make an appointment for my daughter which was for 4/16/19 at 4. Upon my daughter arriving she was told her appointment was for yesterday 4/15 and that she was a "No Show". Twice there was an issue with the same person's incorrect scheduling. The initial impression was great but fell short.

It took several months for them to call me to let me know my glasses were ready. Plus, my lenses…read morehave a weird glare to them that makes me see light reflected twice. I have tried to get this fixed, but the place has not been open during the hours that they are supposed to be. I went on a Wednesday, and there was a sign that said they would be open at 1:30, and no one showed up to open the store all afternoon. The glasses cost a lot of money for the lenses and frames - you would think they would come back quickly and made correctly so I wouldn't have to try coming back to get them fixed. This business seems shoddy to me - it's deceiving because they are in such a nice location, and the prices they charge are so high.
