Now I see why it's said "you get what you pay for" the service is sub par, and the services are less than favorable. I'm told to come back in 2 weeks to try the other contacts. However!!!! The dr is there ONLY once a month. A "digital" Dr can not give me the other trials. So now, I'm going to have to pay again at another eye provider to have another exam, in order to be able to see. The mono vision didn't work and now I'm left to Wing it! VERY DISAPPOINTED! I will never come here again!!!

Last year was very dissatisfied with the customer service and attitude of the staff, so decided to look around. A friend highly recommend Stanton optical, who provided far superior customer service, much lower prices, much nicer attitude and a sincere smile instead of a " we could care less about you" attitude. You treated a long term customer like crap and motivated me to look for a better eyeglass source. I am very glad I found Stanton, like being treated like a valued client instead of an annoyance as I felt at americas best.

I scheduled an appointment for 2:00 PM and arrived early, only to be told I would still have to…read morewait an hour. They were clearly running behind but refused to acknowledge it or communicate that honestly. The eye doctor had a major attitude and was rude from the start. When I asked questions, she was uninformative and dismissive, and it was obvious there was little to no customer service training. Another major issue was the insurance information. Their website states they accept my insurance, but once I arrived I was told they do not. One person said they might only accept it for the eye exam, while glasses would most likely be out of pocket. The information was inconsistent and misleading. Between the long wait, the doctor's major attitude and rude behavior, and the misinformation about insurance on their website, this was a very disappointing experience. I would not recommend sending anyone here.

I explained to Mark exactly what we wanted and he did exactly as we asked. I was impressed that he didn't try to "up sell" us at all. He listened and it was greatly appreciated. The exam process was very simple- done via telemedicine. The only downside was that the doctor had a very strong accent and it was difficult to hear him sometimes. Overall- very good experience and I would recommend them to anyone looking for glasses.

The folks in the eyewear shop are always helpful too, with someone immediately available to help with eyeglasses choices. This place has the nice mom-and-pop feel of a smaller business. As I approached I explained it was my first time and I was looking for glasses. She asked if I had my Rx and when I realized I had forgotten it and I didn't go to Baptist optometrist for my exam it all went downhill. She informed me that she couldn't help me find a frame without a Rx. I asked her if I could bring the Rx the next day. She said she'd have to disinfect ALL the glasses I touched because this pandemic(I work at Baptist hospital I get it) and without a Rx she couldn't pick out my frames. I told her I was sorry for bothering her and that I'd never been told that without a Rx I couldn't just look at glasses anytime so I would just leave. She tried to stop me but by then too late. I really loved some of the frames I saw too. My friend who recommended me said she goes in everytime without a Rx picks a frame then brings a Rx back in, she apologized for the recommendation. Oh well, I tried. Just remember BRING A PRESCRIPTION!
