Been seeing Dr Rossi for years. Everyone at his office is always friendly and helpful

The office "kids" are very unprofessional and uneducated. I am referring to them as children because they do not know what they are doing and do not conduct themselves in a professional manner. I feel sorry for Dr. Rossi to have to deal with this environment all day every day. Justin certainly needs to learn professionalism, if he is supposed to be some type of manager. read more

Billing is a joke. My wife went to get her exam, and gave them her insurance information. For some reason they could not find it. She decided to pay the bill in full and let them reimburse her when they were paid. It could take up to 45 days. This was in October of 2025. Its now February of 2026. We have contacted their billing dept (India) given a runaround about waiting for VSP to pay. She contacted VSP and they had already paid ECA. They now say that there were other charges and she is only owed back $70 of $140 when she clearly paid the bill in full. We have both been by to speak with them and the office manager is always "in a meeting". They continue to say she needs to contact the billing dept but they are pretty useless. Considering small claims court and reporting insurance fraud. read more

Harassing appointment reminders which start weeks before your appointment and don't let up. We don't have any issue with the need to confirm an appointment, but this place is insane. read more

I recommend avoiding Dr. Patrick Rossi. He neglected to inform or advise me on a medical condition with possible complications, yet wrote in my medical records that he had done so. This situation lasted for five years before I discovered what was happening. read more

$650 for a pair of glasses AFTER INSURANCE? Please!!! Hit us up for $480 after insurance for a routine eye exam and glasses. A couple months go by then the frame falls apart. Take them back only to be told we owe an additional $145 PLUS $22 for frame replacement. Told us to buy super glue to repair the frames while we wait on the replacement. Stay as far away from this place as you can! read more

FUBAR continues.... After three additional trips and numerous days without glasses, my wife now has her regular glasses with lens she can see when wearing. Remade lens twice to get them corrected. Now she is trying to get the sunglasses, bought and ordered at the same time as her regular glasses, with corrected lens that she can see through when wearing. Today, after several weeks, they are going to reorder the sunglasses lens again... lady told my wife that manufacturer could have made another mistake with the lens is the reason she still cannot see through the sunglasses. So, the epic tragedy saga continues... this my fourth post outlining the significantlet poor levels of Quality of Products and the horrible customer service with the rude, young female (cannot call her a lady in good conscience) that talks down to you and tries to make herself appear like she knows what she is talking about relative to your opinions about and desires of product. STAY AWAY... you have been warned! It is better to stay blind and keep your money than to give them your money and still cannot see! read more

Find another place. Have had two instances this establishment hasn't been willing or able to assist in. They have no problem pushing you off for an appointment but have absolutely no alternative for circumstances that need addressing sooner then their appointment schedule will allow. read more

If I could give this place negative reviews I would. I am out over 500 dollars, it's been 3 months, had 2 appointments... ( been in more times then that to question prescriptions, fees, try to get reimbursed for things I was told would be but then weren't) charged things I didn't ask for or receive, lied to about things they would cover if they were wrong which they were and still can't get a proper prescription or see. Plus once you ask them anything they are pretty rude about it like it's all your fault. The doctor himself seems nice and fine but can't get my prescription right so.... Now I'm left with all that money spent, charged a contact lense fitting fee I didn't ask for and not receive and my insurance used so I have save up to spend the $155.00 to go and see the eye dr I should have stuck with and never left. In the mean time I can't see and have eye issues.... DO NOT GO HERE. Ps. I also once I heard from a friend who used to work here once I got upset enough to voice an opinion and apparently this happens a lot... just nobody voices it. Don't go here. One rude apple that makes you feel stupid when she pushes more insurance on isn't the reason. Could barely read road signs with first pair of $500 plus glasses. Rude girl was mad because I had complained about her and she wanted me to wear those things for a few months regardless of driving problems. After being ignored and bypassed with people coming in after me by her, I got another lady to check glasses and they were replaced. Now I do decide to wear them a couple of months because only problem is reading my phone and tablet at close range with left eye and I don't want to go back there. I go back and get the main lady. Now get this, she stand back about 5 feet and says "can you read this" and I could. She was playing me and announced "you have 20/20 vision, we can't do better than that". Now I just shock my head and left because I told her clearly my problem was at arms length. Maybe they thought it didn't matter as much to me as reading there phone was to them!! They had my money, I bought that ridicules insurance [ you still will have to pay $300 dollars and you know they will never honor that easily + you can get new glasses elsewhere for much less] and had no intention of making my life better by making my ability to read my phone without closing one eye. I hate I wasted my money and I am going to have to buy another pair from someone else and hope the prescription isn't bad as well. read more

This place is one of the best offices I have had the pleasure of using. All of the associates are super nice and very professional. You will not leave with unanswered questions because they are very knowledgeable and proficient. Would recommend using this office over any other and I believe you will not be disappointed. read more

Dr.Rossi and his staff are very friendly,they treat you like they've known you for years,Dr.Rossi is very patient and knowledgeable in checking your eyes,the wait time is very short,We would recommend primary eyecare in prattville,Al across from post office on greystone rd,to anyone looking for only the best in town,both of my kids and myself liked them.And they do accept Medicaid.
