I love EyeCare Plus. I have extremely bad eyesight, and astigmatism. I have used them for years. I have never had a bad experience. I recently gotten a new pair of frames and lenses. The frame broke, just a fluke and past warranty. I had no other choice but to pay out of pocket; after further review (Tiffany) she found the broken piece was actually a manufacture issue. Within 2 weeks I had a new pair of frames and lenses. They could have easily charged me full price, considering my vision insurance paid only months prior. I love the setup of the facility and how the staff helps with picking glasses, but the front desk and collections team need serious improvement. They were rude and unprofessional, demanding a copay they forgot to collect from my 18-year-old daughter, then added an unnecessary collection fee for their own mistake. When I asked to pay cash prior to appt to avoid card fees, I was told no and spoken to disrespectfully. Do better with communication and customer service. read more

Very rude and unprofessional reception team and technicians. If you are a military family, I recommend you look elsewhere, the treatment of non-local patients is very poor! The Drs were professional overall (the only reason for 2 stars) but the prescription that the tech derived was off--the glasses actually cause problems when I wear them. I went in for my annual exam. This time the technician did the refraction for my prescription in the pre-exam room without telling me what was going on. I thought the doc would come in and go over the prescription that the tech came up with. He just came in and did the medical exam. I saw the doctor for all of 10 minutes., and he didn't verify the Rx numbers the tech got. Now I'm not sure I got a good Rx. read more

I have recently started coming here and I will be changing again. Even time I talk to these people they tell me that they forgot to charge me for something and make me pay more. This time I was supposed to be getting an $80 check back cause they told me I over paid and I have been waiting on the check in the mail it's been a month and I called to check on it and they told me it would now only be $30 because they forgot to charge me yet again for something. I feel I am being cheated out of money and I feel they need to get their system in order if they forget to charge someone for something so often. read more

Dr. McNamara and his staff were very informed and friendly. The environment was comfortable and aesthetically pleasing. The waiting area was clean and well decorated. I felt no pressure this visit to buy their products but that I could, of course, it that is what I wanted. read more

I was very uncertain about what type of experience we would have because we are new to this area. I did not know anything about this doctor's office. The reason I chose to go to EyeCare Plus was because they were the only doctor's office that carried both my daughter's insurance & MiraFlex glasses for children. That alone was already a plus in my opinion. The office was very easy to locate. When we arrived, I was immediately impressed with the look & feel of the office. It was a clean, inviting, & relaxed atmosphere. There was a small play area for children which my daughter enjoyed. The office staff was very amicable. The technicians worked well with my 4 year old daughter who has several health problems. Dr. Crockett was very professional, accommodating, & congenial. He was not able to complete my daughter's eye exam due to her incoroporation. He offered a suggestion to the problem & was willing to work with us to resolve the issue. They carried a variety of glasses for young children. They even had a great selection of MiraFlex glasses. They had all the shapes to look at that are available through MiraFlex & a nice color palate to look at. The optical staff was very helpful & patient with us. They even told us that they offer a free eye exam to children at 6 months old, which is great for my 4 month old son. Everyone who we encountered was very obliging & answered all the questions we had. We still have to go back to complete my daughter's exam, but I am looking forward to going back.
