There was only one lady working and she spoke very broken English. So, there was a huge communication problem between us. My expectation was that you look at pictures of brows and get to pick out what you wanted. I guess one size fits all??? This was one of the most painful things I ever endured. OMG! It hurt so bad at one point my whole forehead and eyes were numb so I couldn't feel it anymore. She talked through the whole procedure and asked me something about looking "natural". I thought she was suggesting it looks so good I didn't need to use the eyebrow pencil I had on my brows when I arrived. She proceed to put something creamy on my brows and I thought she was putting a cream to soothe the pain and skin irritation. No, she tinted my eyebrows. All done, my eyes are teary. I am in pain. We go to pay $30. When I asked what I am paying $30 she tried to explain brows and "look natural". I mentioned I only wanted $7 brows and she replied that was for students. Then she asked for cash. No where in the store does it say cash only. And, there was a credit card machine right on the counter where we are talking. When I told her I don't have $30 cash, she asked me how much cash do I have. I told her none and showed her my wallet. She proceeded to tell me I needed to pay with cash and told me to go to the ATM and get her cash. I told her no because the ATM will charge me money to take out cash. When I pointed out the credit card machine she finally agreed she would "figure it out". I did not tip her. $12 brows + $18 tint. She tried telling me I am not going to get that price anywhere else. Now to my brows! They are not the same. One is kinda flat where the other is arched. At least she got the color right. Never again!

So here's the skinny: come in and check in on the tablet. The chairs to wait in are to the right where all the polish colors are all over the table (I thought that was a party or something). They'll come get you when it's your appointment. The bathroom is in the back corner by the exit sign. I've avoided these types of places because it's hard to tell if the employees are treated and paid well. But this one is run like a well oiled machine. I got tired of my one-woman tech being slow and I ran out of things to talk to her about after all these years. It was like too much work. Here you can just sit in silence and they are done in a timely manner. I usually bring my own polish but I just picked one from their table. It's a little confusing what's what on the table but do your best lol. At the end,the tech gives you a ticket. I didn't know what to do with it or how to tip. There is a nail drying counter/fan but they don't tell you to go there so I didn't know. Next to it are foam sandals. I think you pay on the way out and tip there too. I'll be back with better expectations and feeling less intimidated. I'm glad they take appointments and foot callous removal is with a machine (that is new to me!)
