We also wore our masks the entire time which made me feel safe. (SERVICE) When communicating my expectations, I could tell Shay was paying close attention. I asked for all-over-layers without losing length, and she did not disappoint. The layering technique she used was something I've never seen before. She customized a cut specifically for me, and my new haircut turned out beautifully! It was more than I could ever imagine! She ensures everything is sanitized in her office before each client is seated in her/the chair she uses. It's beyond clean. You can just "feel" it. We did a little research, read some reviews, and then bought a Groupon to try out Absolute. The long and short? We do not regret the choice at all. We went to the salon as a walk-in. We were greeted and taken back immediately. The owner, Arati, is friendly and efficient. Watching her thread is fascinating, truly. She also gave me info about an upcoming closing of the salon for her vacation so that we could prepare accordingly, and I appreciate that level of detail. She did an amazing job; Emma's eyebrows look fabulous. Emma did say the pain was more than she expected, considering what she was told by friends...but that's the process, not the technician. Next time it won't be as painful because she will have less hair! It is definitely less damaging than waxing (after all, it doesn't remove layers of skin), and her recovery (after normal swelling and redness) was very fast. We will return for follow ups!

I never asked her to redo my eyebrows. Instead, she became defensive, rude, and completely unprofessional. She repeatedly insisted there were no missed hairs, even though I know my own eyebrows and could clearly see that there were. Rather than handling the situation professionally, she told me, "I won't take you again. Go to another eyebrow location." That response was unacceptable. As a paying customer, I expect to be treated with respect and receive quality service. The prices are high enough that customers should not have to accept incomplete work or rude treatment when they politely raise a concern. I've never had a reason to complain before, which makes this experience even more disappointing. Customer service matters just as much as the quality of the work, and unfortunately, this experience fell far short of both.
