I have been to this business in the past, and on those occasions I tolerated the two guys who ran the optometry part of the business because I really love seeing Dr. Korman. She is very thorough and professional. However, the optometrist are not very good, and come off smug and arrogant. Each time I ordered glasses they had to be redone. I really appreciate the professionalism and friendliness of the doctor and staff at Eye Studio. I recently used their services to replace the prescription lenses in my sunglasses as well as a replacement pair of glasses. They have a great selection of frames, including my favorite - Oakley - and they did a great job on my eye exam and follow up appointments. Although my sunglasses were sent to their lab and were promised within two weeks, they weren't actually ready for approx. four weeks. Since I had to wait, Eye Studio gave me a $100 credit to use at their location the next time I need their services, which was nice of them. I'm glad they take customer service seriously and that I have a local optometrist that does an excellent job meeting my needs. read more

I moved to Las Vegas in May of 2018. My primary care physician referred me to Shepard Eye Center. Shepherd Eye Center is a very large facility. It was ok although I felt like I was in a factory. It seemed like they rushed me in and out and I was just another number. I got a post card in the mail for the Eye Studio at Anthem and decided to give them a try and I'm really glad I did. It is a small office of maybe just 1 eye doctor. Dr Shana Korman was very nice and very professional. She asked many questions and did not force any exams on me that she didn't feel were necessary. I initially called Dr. Korman's office on a Saturday after failing to obtain an appt at a larger, regional office for my son. They had an appointment available that day and my son was able to be seen very quickly by Dr. Korman. He ended up being fitted for contact lenses (he's 12) for the first time and the follow-ups needed also went very smoothly. They have a nice coffee machine in their waiting room and the office manager, Alex, was very accommodating and friendly with me and the other customers in the office. I ended up scheduling an appt for myself for a yearly exam and purchased my contacts through them (with insurance) and was surprised to learn that they did not jack up the price of the contacts (like my old place did)! This is a small, private practice and the attention to detail was very nice. It's the end of the year and I had to use my vision benefits. I called at least 10 other locations to try to find a last-minute appointment. Fortunately, Eye Studio at Anthem was open and had an availability late on a Friday. The entire staff was incredibly professional. From the interaction at the front desk, to the patience displayed as I selected a pair of rims, the whole process was exceptional. Dr. Norman was knowledgeable and personable. She answered all of my questions and explained each part of the exam clearly. I especially appreciated her interaction with my three-year-old who is normally very shy. I truly enjoyed coming to this eye care facility until today. The doctor recommended and sold me mono contacts and I have enjoyed them greatly. Today, however, I was struck by the total lack of care and lack of customer service.... why? Because the contact I had on in my right eye tore in half early in the morning. I was unable to get one half of it out of my eye causing blurred vision and pain. After carefully driving myself to her office, explaining my pain and need to her brother, the receptionist, he went to inform her of my need for help. He said she told him that I'd have to wait three hours to see her... a problem that, had she used truly professional courtesy, would have taken her less than a minute to remedy.
