The hiring process was simple and the typical paper work required to work there. In addition you are required to take a sample tests to gauge your knowledge of the subject you wish to tutor. The advisors will provide with whatever you need in order to enhance your teaching by any means. They have gone above and beyond for me to the BEST of their ability. Downsides: Like any other tutoring gig, you'll get a student if there is a need for a subject. My speciality classes I taught were: Global and United States History Regents, Biology Regents, 3rd grade to 5th grade English Language Arts. However, the need at the time was normally Math and Science. So if you specialize in these areas, please apply here. Granted, you need to constantly contact the place and speak with the supervisors to see if there any available students. Advice for tutors: Be passionate about your subject, LOVE what you teach and do it for expertise in what you know. NOT FOR THE PAYCHECK.
