I saw this store shortly after it opened on Duval Street. I walked in to look at a really good quality pair sunglasses. I found a great pair of Oliver Peoples Sunglasses and was told I could have them in less then 2 weeks (she had to order the prescription lenses for them). So I said OK. 2 weeks and over $400 later, they were not ready. The owner is nice enough to give me a courtesy call and said they should ready in a week.
So I go down to her shop to see if they are ready after about 3 weeks, and wouldn't you know it. The store is closed. The owner is out really sick for about 4 days.
To make this long story kind of shorter, she finally calls and says they are ready after almost 2 months. I go pick them up and she says bring them in when you have an hour available and I can put a trim on the sides so the lenses blend in better with the frames.
At that point I was ready to tell her to give me a refund, so I said for her to keep the glasses and I will pick them up the following day, when they are truly finished.
She is currently located on Fleming Street. This is her 3rd store front location in less than 3 years.
I don't think I will be buying from her any more. I had to go back once already because the lens popped out and I need to go back to her again for the same problem. read more
