Stopped in here for lunch after visiting the oldest house in Key West, Thursday February 5, 2026…read more Indoor & outdoor seating. Serving food 8am-2:30pm and 5-10pm daily. We sat at the outdoor bar. Distinct Caribbean vibe located in the historic Bahama Village. Daria brought us drinks & menus. Lots of breakfast & lunch choices here. We started with a Bloody Maria ($13) & a Hot Irishman coffee ($12) - both were excellent. Lot's of breakfast choices from fancy pancakes to various eggs Benedict breakfast dishes. Shrimp & Grits - Key West Shrimp Sautéed in White Wine. Butter and Scallions over Grits and White Cheddar w/ fresh fruit ($19) & Andy's Grilled Sharp Cheddar Cheese & Tomato Sandwich w/ potatoes ($13) - again both were excellent. Very relaxing atmosphere on a somewhat busy lunch time. There is also a gift shop featuring their baked desserts and the usual tourist souveniers & clothing. Thank you again to Daria for excellent service & to Andy and his kitchen staff. p.s. metered street parking is limited in ths busy area. Reservations highly recommened for dinner 5-10pm daily. Both Husband and I ordered the special omelette, with lobster, bacon, and tomato. The dish was rich and delicious, with an entire lobster tail and plenty of bacon. To top it off, the omelette was accompanied by a slice of banana bread. We were not impressed by the key lime pie. Although the pie looks impressive, topped by a huge mound of meringue, it tasted a bit stale. Its consistency was heavy, and the meringue flavorless. Don't let the pie, however, stop you from going to Blue Heaven. The brunch is great service is friendly, and you can't beat the atmosphere, eating outdoors with the chickens and artwork. Tip: arrive early to avoid a long wait.

It's a dive bar through and through but I happen to be a big fan of dive bars! However, this one fell flat on it's face with the service. I wouldn't say the place was packed but there were not any open seats at the bar. I posted up the best I could but for the better part of 15 minutes both bartenders didn't even come to my side of the bar. I then moved to the other side and waited another 10 minutes to be served (at which point the bartender said "Didn't I just serve you?" Um, no, you most definitely did not. This place has two saving graces: 1) A water jug full of cold water for the taking, off in the corner. Love that. 2) A popcorn machine that had DELICIOUS popcorn! YES. If you can manage to get a beverage then I think you won't mind Green Parrot's (very) relaxed atmosphere and delightful little perks. My takeaway is for the staff to mix in some work to go along with their chatting with the regulars...

They have a great beer selection (including Lagunitas IPA from California, WTF?), good service...what's not to like? The location is a reasonable walk from the cruise ships too. Strawberry margarita was fresh and hit the spot! My boyfriend enjoyed his blackened grouper sandwich with jalapeño coslaw( says that could have been spicier) The view is awesome- keep an eye on small children to not fall over into the ocean. I hope we have to go back! Really loved this place!

The settings by the water gave a very lazy look and was quite perfect on a lazy day. The menu is quite compact and so there is not much choice. But the blackened fish was very well done and so was the chimichanga. Portions are sizable so think twice before ordering appetizers. It would be great to just ride a boat to the place. Park it there and have a relaxed time. They have a live band and also a dance area. Should be good also to come one for dinner. The chimichanga and buffalo wings are the best dishes!! The buffalo sauce has a carribean edge to it. Maybe they have a special ingredient for the sauce. There was live music playing, pool tables, and even some video games, so there's plenty to keep you and the family entertained while you hang out. Kids are allowed in, but they aren't allowed to sit at the bar. It definitely feels like one of those places where you can lose track of time in the best way. They also have a merch area with hoodies, stickers, and other souvenirs if you want to take a little piece of the experience home. And knowing it's one of the oldest bars in the Keys just adds to the charm and history of the place. The service was quick, you walk up to the bar and order then find a place to sit. Super chill and laid back. One fun thing you have to try is tossing a quarter into the fish's mouth outside... test your luck and see if you can land it! Can't forget the drinks! The rum punch is to die for... super refreshing and perfect for the Key West heat. Overall, such a fun stop if you're in town. Definitely worth checking out! Fun fact: - it used to be a morgue and ice house back in the day. it also used to be the original home of Sloppy Joes, before they moved to Duvall St.
