It's wonderful place. I love the ladies at the desk as well. They are always so helpful and nice With the COVID19, they made everything more comfortable. The only complaint I had today is about the red headed young girl who was doing the glasses . I was going to sit my 2 year old in the chair to put his shoes on and her tone was a little off about us needing to sit to the side. But she may not have had a good day or something. I hope our next meeting goes better and if she was having a bad day, it got better.

They took their time and made sure you were happy with your choices. But beyond that, my spouse had a serious eye condition. He has been to several optometrists over the years and told he had holes in his retinas but was never told it was important to have it checked beyond an eye exam. Family Eye Center did not just pass him off. They schedule him to see a specialist where he found out one of the holes was leaking. If he had waited much longer he could have lost vision in that eye. My 4 stars is not because there was anything wrong with the quality of my eye glasses. It is for anyone with allergies. The office has a pet that roams free--a one-eyed cat that is as sweet as can be, but my son is very allergic. Also, someone in the office smokes or someone before the place was a doctor's office, but the smell is still strong. Having a son with significant allergies, I am very aware, but anyone would have noticed this. The smell was strong. If you or your loved one has allergies, you need to find another eye doctor. If you can stand that, I bought the cutest glasses there and I can see so much better.

I showed my insurance card to assistant, I wanted to know if my bill would be covered or most of it. She said, " yes sir, you are covered, I said, " are you sure" ? " Yes sir ". I trusted her %. I was finished with exam and sure the doctor is nice but getting ready to walk out the door, the assistant said " that will be $ 150.00 for today" I was in shock. I was not told at beginning of appointment that I would have to pay $ 150.00 because my insurance would not pay it. Also a few weeks later, I received a bill in the mail for $ 284.00..... I called to complain but was told my insurance only covered a quarter of it and the doctor went up a hair on my prescription. Please be weary of this place. The assistant should have gotten the insurance card from me, and did more of a search to see if I was covered and how much before anything was done. I'm very disappointed and hope this review will help someone else.

I wasn't able to use my amazing frame or any one of the frames I brought with me. That was a big letdown. The frames that got haven't lasted long before I had to get them repaired (no charge). Gave me hard time about giving me a refund on AR coating. lenses were unable to see out of. Gave me one reason after another when it was clearly a no brainer. Wasnt my fault. yet they made it seem it was. Been a customer since 2005 never a problem. Was even told cant get glass case unless I purchased it. I'm being blamed. BEWARE: Any thing happens to your glasses they do their best to blame you, No refunds given Especially with a no brainer. They have new lense manufacture who make your glasses and they are crap.
