She didn't leave the room while I changed out of my pants and underwear. I lay on a table with a paper sheet overtop. It was super painful and felt like it pulled my skin. When I got home my bits were all swollen and red. As the days went on I looked all spotty and blistered. My partner looked at this and was shocked as I have never looked like that before. The wax was either too hot or too cold. Would not recommend this place at all. I am going back to Focus on You, she did an amazing job and not sure why I strayed. Would pay the extra money to have a nice quiet room, fresh towels and a towelette to clean before you get on the table. And I nice spa-like table with a room that has ambiance.

She is so knowledgeable and great to speak with. Loved my consult with her. After my consult, where I was filled with a bunch of great info, I booked into my IPL appointment. The IPL laser felt like an elastic band against my skin. Margarita was efficient and explained everything as she was doing it. Already a few days later I notice a huge difference in my skin. After my esthetician took care of my nails and my rough feet, she worked my legs with a scrub and then an awesome massage. She was nice enough to say that my feet weren't so bad and would I like an extra few minutes of massage... YAY! Could have fallen asleep in that chair and would definitely go back. Loved that I was not rushed out of the chair or made to feel like a number. The atmosphere was friendly, professional and above all relaxing. I honestly let my hair air dry every day (it's all about the fabulous cut!). But my cut was done to perfection. It was an updated twist on my usual cut and made me look at least 5 years younger. Im old. So I'll take any improvements!!! They use high end products and I ended up buying some ombre products which are top of the line stuff. I had returned from a 4 month trip to a more humid climate (let's be honest, it is hard to go somewhere that isn't more humid then Edmonton) and was having trouble with breakouts on my face - I didn't know which facial would be best. But I didn't need to worry as the owner was able to tailor a facial specifically to my needs. I was very impressed with the results and feel that helped my skin adjust overall to being back in Edmonton. My favorite service is the pedicure. You can select between several options - I generally go with the Express Pedicure and then every once in a while spoil myself and splurge on the Signature Pedicure. They have the big relaxing massage chairs so the whole time your feet and lower legs are being pampered you can also be enjoying a back and neck massage. Mimosa also offer a membership for regular visitors - the membership has several benefits including discounts on all services so I think it is worth it even if you only go a couple times in a year.
