I decided to check out the Binh's Westmount location for my most recent gel nail fill and am very happy to report I had a great experience. I was able to book an appointment a couple weeks in advance for my ideal time without any issues and when I arrived, there was only one other customer. The salon is brightly lit with natural light and has high, open ceilings that contributes to a clean aesthetic. The tech who did my nails was speedy but not at all sloppy. She was able to complete a great looking full-colour set in under an hour. While they don't use as high-quality products as other salons, overall I felt like it was great value for what I paid. I'm very happy to have found a great nearby option for my regular appointments.

Thanks to 1 reviewer, they have improved returning calls, and if you don't get to talk to an actual person, leave a message and someone will call you back and book your appointment for you. Slots for appointments fill up pretty fast, so as soon as you think you need an appointment with them book it as fast as you can. They are now taking emails so that they can send you an email confirmation and reminder as to when your appointment is, which I think is pretty cool especially if you're forgetful-saves you time calling them back again and asking when your next appointment is. They do accept walk ins but, they rather have you call in for an appointment. Sometimes they run behind especially when someone has stubborn hair or when instead of 1 service, client decides to have 3 services or a full face done or something like that so, it's not always entirely staff's fault that they are running behind. Usually they tell you when they are running behind and they do apologize for the wait, they generally do not like to make their clients wait. There are 5 wonderful ladies who does threading. They are professional and nice. All of them are very good and if you want to try them all to see who you most prefer to do it for you all the time, you can; and then you can request that particular person to do it for you every time. So far I have tried 3 ladies: Sandeep, Noor and Jessi and they're all very good... My favourite hair stylist is Noralyn, she did my cut and colour so nice that I have found my stylist! The price is not bad either compared to going to the mall and paying lots of $$$$. They do also offer facials, waxing, manicures, pedicures, shellac, tinting, makeup application, laser hair removal, hair cuts and styling.. one of the cheapest I've seen in the city for blowouts! ;) Right now they are offering a promo on Mani and Pedi and Laser Hair Removal. I would definitely come back to this place and recommend it to friends and family. If you ever have a problem with the service just call them or come see them and explain what happened and the owner/manager is very understanding and respectful. You can even bring your babies or kids with you when you get your threading or waxing done or they can wait in the waiting area. I took 1 star away because as many of the ladies want gel nails, they don't offer it and they don't have an official website and Facebook page. They also don't do hair extensions, if you have those clip-on ones they can clip it on for you but they don't have it for sale in-house nor do they glue them on . Lastly weak wifi connection for all you connected peeps so if these are non-negotiables for you, better not disappoint yourself and find another salon. If you read reviews like this, I suggest you try it first and then decide; but for me so far, I'm happy with the service and the price I paid for which is the bottom line.

The stylist was very rough on mom's little, old head. She manhandled her enough to break her necklace. She lost some of her freshwater pearls. Then came the blow-out. She cringed at the rough brushing. Mom was clearly not happy. She paid $43.00 and left a $2.00 tip. I consider that pretty expensive for a quick wash and blow dry.

My feet and legs feel so refreshed when I leave here. They also have a great assortment of colours to choose from. They get pretty busy, so I recommend making an appointment rather than walking in. But apparently I was getting false tips. In the end, my nails look great. The price was average. I personally had just got my nails done at another salon and the design did not match my bridemaids dress or color at all. Julia was amazing - friendly, professional and always checking in to make sure I was comfortable and happy, Ruby was bubbly and professional and made us all laugh through the 90 minute appointment.
