I originally stopped by in search of pottery classes--and was delighted to find not only that they offer them, but also that a new session begins on October 13th. In addition, there's a Fall Break Art Camp for grades 2-5, where children will experiment with a range of media including watercolor, acrylics, and collage. As I walked through the space, I was able to watch artists at work and enjoy the current gallery exhibits on display. The atmosphere was inspiring and welcoming. Adult fall classes--running October 6th through December 13th--are also available, covering both visual and ceramic arts. Each class is taught by individual instructors, making it approachable for students of all levels. Best of all, online registration makes it simple to sign up. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that such a wonderful resource has been right in my neighborhood all along. It was a great experience, and I've already registered for pottery classes--something I'm really excited about! Some of the paintings actually made me hallucinate just looking at them, because of the vivid trance causing design the artist created. There are amazing group deals on their website as well as some more information about the business! Melissa, co-owner, was there the day we went in and she was so so welcoming. We were supplied ponchos and shoe coverings as well as lockers for our things and even hair nets and accessories. They thought of it all! Melissa explained everything to us and made sure we were comfortable before leaving us to our creativity. I absolutely loved the fact that we were always checked on as well as our paint and cleaning waters. Melissa would make encouraging comments I needed because I for one am not creative. We started with the Splatter Splash Experience, and it was really cool to have the room to ourselves. We started at 11AM. You can pick a Spotify playlist - so we danced while throwing paint everywhere and got a little workout in on the spin-art bike! Next, we did the Pour Your Bear/Canvas combo. You choose four colors (additional colors are an extra fee), paint your bear, and then use the remaining paint to create a matching canvas. The bear takes a few days to dry, and you can schedule a pickup when it's ready. We wore clothes we didn't mind getting paint on, but they also provide painters jumpsuit, boots, hair ties, and shower caps. Small lockers are available for shoes and bag. When I tried to contact them to cancel the camp within their cancellation period, the phone only rang and did not go to a voice mail. After a couple more attempts I e-mailed them and finally received acknowledgement that they would cancel her camp and issue a refund. After months of trying to contact with them asking for an update on my refund, I was only given excuses and was constantly told that the person responsible for issuing the refund was always busy and could not talk at that time. This place is a scam and I would never trust the care of my child to them.

Simply drop off and pay at the desk when you're done. Come back and pick up in a week once it's been glazed and fired. I loved the painted pieces that are on display since they are great for inspiration. I went back to pick up my pieces and decided to go for another round. I think I'm hooked!
