Dr. Joud takes the time to listen to our concerns without rushing through the appointment. He explains medical conditions and treatment in a way that is easy to understand. We always leave feeling reassured and well cared for. When I was admitted to the hospital, Dr. Joud went above and beyond when providing care for our very complex medical issues. His specialty referral can never be matched. The office staff is always friendly, making scheduling appointments easy. The office is immaculate, and I never feel like another number. Having a connective tissue disease means a lot of doctor appointments for referrals and for regular care. The reception team get me timely appointments, call to remind me of my appointments, and have processed all my referrals and prescriptions correctly. The medical technicians/nurses have been polite, helpful, and professional at every encounter. This is a small office with just Dr Abskhroun to see patients. There have been a few times when I had to wait past my appointment time to see him. This is because he never rushes through appointments. I can appreciate that in doing so (listening to his patients) appointments can run long. Dr Abskhroun likes to focus on just a couple issues at a time to ensure no overlap in need for specialty referrals or medication prescriptions. This has reduced my daily medication load making my liver happier.

FOR ALMOST 3 years YOU DID NOT KNOW MY DAUGHTER HAD AUTISM! After prescribing medications and after I have given you every single piece of paper regard ing my daughters health since I moved here in 2023 due to Hurricane Ian. I gave you all my physical paperwork to copy from day one. on top of that the doctor is slow and needs to retire. he preaches misogyny "the problem today is woman don't crochet" sir what does that have to do with anything. and then rambles about God. (which great good for you but this does not belong in the appointment especially when the wait times are about an hr. I write this as I am waiting 45 minutes to get a piece of paper signed. in addition my daughters school has been trying to contact them for months regarding a form for evaluation for EIp. we will have to cancel without this. again hindering my daughter from getting the help she needs. they lied told the school they did in fact fsx the form over. Be careful using this doctor as your primary care provider. He may try to bill you outside of your…read moremedical insurance for certain diagnoses as he did with me. He has a functional medicine side of his practice. The office clerk stopped me when I was leaving and told me I must pay $50 for my diagnosis of urinary incontinence. I told the clerk I did not have incontinence. She pointed to a tiny typed paper taped too high up on her glass window for anyone to read. She stated it was a list of diagnoses he regards as functional medicine. She insisted I pay the $50. I felt intimidated and paid the bill though the reported diagnosis was a lie. There was one bill sent by his office to my insurance company with codes. The bill I paid for $50 had no code. I reported this to Aetna/Medicare. Per Aetna, their grievance department and their fraud department have left phone messages at his office but gotten no return phone calls. I received a phone call from Aetna today and they told me they will continue to get to the bottom of this.
