I've drive by Kohl's side to get to the gas station couple times without thinking and faced with grass area where I had to drive around to get to the gas pumps. I haven't had to wait more than few minutes (like Costco gas stations *ahem*), and it's always a quick visit. Now for the cons: Unlike some other newer BJ's gas stations that easily read the BJ's app for membership verification, this one has "older" gas pumps and they don't scan the app very well. So you have to use a physical card to scan it at the pumps. Not a big deal, but it is annoying. The drive out of the gas station has pretty low visibility due to overgrown bushes and trees. I wish the shopping center tends to those to make the driver's visibility to be better. It's very hard to see if any cars are coming from the left side of the gas station when you are driving out from the gas station into the road. I typically step on my gas pretty hard to get out of the station.

I also love the convenience...I get on the outer belt just a couple miles from home and get off at Capital Blvd exit and then a right turn is next into the parking lot. Almost never, as in rarely, have to wait to pull up to the pump...and then it might be behind one car already pumping their gas...so VERY different from Costco experience and it's not at all convenient traveling to that midtown store location not to mention the crazy lines you must wait in at their pumps!!! I don't know how prices compare but the convenience of BJ's location and the hassle free experience is worth any possible cost difference to me. I pay it off every month so no finance charges on credit card...AND I also get credit for purchases so I can then apply to future in-store purchases...a win-win all the way around to me!

Always busy - plenty of carts…read more They finally moved the carts so you don't have to walk in the street to get back to your car- now they need to add a ramp off the side walk- my paper towels fell off going down the curb (I seen some broken eggs on the ground from someone else) The store has mostly organic food, shelf food, vegetables and fruit. I can't get some every day things that are not organic. Even if really busy the checkout is quick. Prices are about the same as a sale at other places.

After a much anticipated wait, first time visiting after they've only been open about a week…read more Overall most of the store is clean and bright and fully stocked, but the drink area and condiment area needed some cleanup. As you'll see in the photos, there's lots of flavor choices for Slurpie's. I was surprised to see a sign on the ice dispenser for the fountain drinks that already is not working. The floor in front of the drinks was litered with paper from a straws, as was the counter behind it, that also had a spilled drink on it which all made for a sticky and messy look. There's a seating area around the corner from it with just a couple tables and a counter area with tall chairs by the front window area. In an aisle before the drink area are hot dogs cooking on a roller contraption. The condition of the condiment area next to it made even the thought of getting one a turn off. I saw a small bakery area behind glass near the checkout and next to it pizza by the slice. There was a big sign when I walked in about a free pizza on their app so check that out. When I got to the cash register what looked like a manager was training an employee on something. Hopefully cleanup in the drink and condiment area will be on the agenda. Anyway, he quickly came over and rang me up. He was nice enough. I do hope they can tidy up the areas mentioned otherwise it'll be just another sticky floor drink area like too many other convenience stores leaving the bottom of customers shoes a mess. Oh, they have a drive thru car wash and at least for now gas is just $3.04 a gallon.

I haven't had a problem getting a pump yet, but there just aren't as many as most gas stations, I think. This location also doesn't have quite as much selection in the store. (Plus, the neighboring gas station carries Prima bottled water which is the water bottle that composts in 30 days! No waste in the landfill, yay!) Tip: Go in/out at the traffic light. The other entrance can be a bit unsafe with lots of traffic coming around the curve if they have the green light.

Of course, it didn't produce a receipt when I asked for one. So, I just pulled off because I was in a rush. I recommend this location.
