No exception in Boonton. * The pharmacists bust their tails to help customers, filling prescriptions, measuring quantities, verifying info. It's a never-ending process they go through and they manage it all without taking it out on us. * Store is clean, standard layout so nothing's that hard to find. * The pharmacy keeps my Walgreens card and credit card on record for faster processing. Whenever I need it, I'm in, I'm out. And I understand the wait times can be long at busy times of day. Again, they are trying their HARDEST and they deserve my recognition for that. They sell Lottery tickets and the usual stuff that these kind of places sell; drinks, deli sandwiches, phone cards, cigarettes, cigars, junk food and ice. They also provide copy & fax service. Prices here are pretty high but that's how these convenience stores are. There's also a lot of clutter lying around - cases of soda and cartons which should be moved to the back and should probably be addressed. The owner operator seems nice enough.

I don't think this is the fault of the local Pharmacists. I do believe they are struggling with a poor IT system and poor upper management. It's no wonder this corporation is struggling and closing stores. I've transferred all my business to a nearby independent, family owned Pharmacy that has an incredible reputation. They took charge and made the transfer easy. Perhaps upper management for Walgreens should check out more independently owned Pharmacies to experience how an essential care business should be run.
