    My sandwich
    Manuel H.

I went here because my mother loves their sandwiches. I wasn't sure especially after reading other reviews on how dirty this place was. I didn't see a dirty place. Looks nice. I bought a pre-made salad and 2 sandwiches. They were $3.85 each and tasted great. Salad is for tonight.

This is what they give you, when you pay extra for avocado. Laughable.

I heard about this cafe via word of mouth. It's very far from where I live. My husband and I had to…read moretake a long drive and we were going to be near the café. So we took the detour and came here. Upon entering, my first impression was how brightly lit the cafe was inside. My husband and I grabbed two trays. One tray was for us, another for my brother's family. There were so many options and the prices were affordable! So affordable I wasn't even looking at the price, just the names of the breads. Every section increased my excitement. After grabbing our choices, we went to the register. Leon was at the register who my friend told me to say hi to him when we go. He was sooo sweet. We had a great chat while he rang us up. For drinks, my husband got the red grapefruit tea and I got hot vanilla latte. I love that we can customize the level of sweetness. We didn't have to wait long. In total, we spent $40 for about 12 Bakery items and two drinks. I started eating some in the car and absolutely loved it. The milk bun was so delicious! The chocolate crossiant was my second favorite. Should we drive through Morris county again, we will definitely stop here.

The moment you walk in, you can tell the place is well-maintained, has the same size and layout as the West Coast. . Everything feels fresh, organized, and inviting. The staff was also incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. Now for the best part--the bakery items. Everything I tried was delicious and the prices are so reasonable compared to Paris Baguette. The breads were soft and flavorful, the pastries perfectly balanced (not overly sweet), and you can really taste the quality in every bite. It brought back the same great experience I've always had in LA. This bakery. chain is more of an old school Chinese bakery (which I love) rather than a more modern Korean take on pastries and buns like Paris Baguette (overpriced). So glad to have a location like this closer to home. I'll definitely be coming back often!

Easily one of the better specialty lattes I've had. The almond croissant was fantastic: flaky, buttery, and topped generously with almonds. It paired really well with the coffee. The café was very busy when we walked in, which says a lot about how popular it is. Tables are on the smaller side, so if you're planning to work on a laptop, it can feel a bit tight -- but it's still doable if you're mindful of space. What really stood out was the staff. Everyone was genuinely kind and welcoming, even with the rush. Overall, great coffee, excellent pastries, and a warm vibe. Definitely worth the stop, whether you're grabbing something to-go or sitting down for a bit.

I've seen a few negative reviews, but my experience has been totally different and I honestly think those critiques are undeserved. The coffee and food are fantastic. Their beans come fresh from the family plantations in Colombia, which you really can taste in every cup -- you won't find that kind of direct farm-to-cup flavor around here. It's wonderful to have such great quality coffee and a lovely atmosphere right here in Lake Hiawatha. Highly recommend stopping by!

They usually play jazz music which is great to relax to but their furniture needs a huge upgrade for starters. The stools are very creaky. A couple of the couches are also not very comfortable to sit on for extended periods of time. They don't have many outlets to plug your electronics into. The bathroom is reallllly small. Its basically a closet. Lastly they dont have central air so Its difficult to get comfortable during the hot summer. I also dont think the owner likes me too much. I think he thought i was hitting on his girlfriend. The hours are great though. They're open 7am to 7pm everyday which no other coffee shop can match. Update: Now you see from the response Alex posted what a shmo this guy is claiming I was there 122 times. If anyone can tell me why someone would visit this place that frequently, id love to know. The Salvation Army probably has better furniture. Alex's ego is so big yet he runs a shop that one or two people pop in at most on any given day. Don't like people? Don't serve the public. For every person that doesn't like me, I bet there's 100 that despise you.
