Exit the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel at the first exit heading east, towards the beaches. It will be almost immediately on the left on Shore Drive, the road you exited to. For those of us that are locals, exit Northampton Boulevard (Hwy 13) to the east on Shore Drive, the last exit before the CBBT. It is almost immediately on the left, just beyond the new Chesapeake Beach Fire & Rescue Station. The pricing is comparable to the nearest gas stations, Wawa & Kroger. But I think the access is easier, especially for travelers. The station is clean, safe & well lit. I've never gone inside. So I can't speak to that area. I'll definitely use the Sunoco again in the future.

However, there are more negative than positive and this is not a station I frequent. First of all why does yelp refuse to change the name. It's not Racetrac, it's Raceway. When asking yelp to change they reviewed it and left it the same. So if your looking for Racetrac you will not find it. So there are two listings, same address and my reviews identical. There is often debris in the area, not significant, but enough. The clientele at this fueling station would rather throw down trash by the pumps then put it in the can...go figure. The pump I most recently used had a missing enter button. That is an issue when it is required for a response to hit "enter" and your unsure where it is. I also like to use AMEX and they do not accept it. What is more frustrating is they do not have signs saying what they do accept. So when it said see the attendant I had no idea why. The attendant was with a customer and talking on his wireless head piece. I would not have been happy if I was that customer. He informed me NO AMEX. If I'm in the area okay if I must. But I will not go out of my way.

I went into the store and purchased $45.00 worth of premium gas a bag of chips. I went in instead of paying at the pump because my debit card and bank account was hacked 2 weeks ago. The night before this incident, the last time my card was used was me purchasing gas at the pump. I completed my purchase, walked to the passenger side of my truck, which will automatically unlock as long as my key is on me. The truck unlocked, I put my purse and my chips on the seat and closed the door. Little did I know, I had just locked myself out of the truck. I finished pumping my gas, walked back in and asked the lady behind the counter, if I could use the phone as I had just locked myself out of my vehicle. She did "Not" hesitate to hand me the store phone, I called my husband to bring the spare key....no problem!!! She even allowed me to stay inside the store because it is in the lower 50's and it's cold outside. She was very nice and I want to thank her from the bottom of my heart! So you may be asking what the problem is.......I decided to walk outside and wait on my husband, I had been waiting on my husband for over an hour. My hubby did tell me that he was just leaving the hardware store and needed to go home first to retrieve the key to my vehicle. I walked back into the store and asked one of the two men that was standing behind the counter if I could use the phone? The first one said no and then he asked the other one if I could use phone and he said no! I explained to him the situation and also told him that the lady who was previously here had allowed me to use the phone, he still said no because it would cost the store for me to make a local phone call! A young man who works for Fed Ex over heard the conversation, I turned around and asked him if I could use his phone and he said no problem mam and gave me his phone! I called my husband and he showed up 5 minutes later. By this time I was furious! So, I can patronize your business but you could not help me, a women, by myself, all of my belongings locked up in the truck and you couldn't patronize me enough to let me make a phone call! I will "Never" patronize this Raceway again!!! I'm so done! Thank God my life wasn't in jeopardy! I am so sad that in this day and time that we can't be here to help one another in a time of need! BP is one of their partners where you can redeem your fuel points for a 10 cent/gallon discount per every 100 fuel points. I ended up with a 40 cent/gallon discount on my last visit! Some notes: - press "Loyalty" on the touch screen at the pump and enter your phone number that is associated with your Kroger account and follow prompts - you can get additional discounts if you buy a car wash - 7 Eleven is the convenience store attached, the store seemed clean and service was friendly The last time I was there, their gas pumps were down but they did not put any signs outside. Customers were pulling up to gas pumps and were left in the dark (me included). Some waited, some drove off. I would suggest having some "Out of Order" signs readily available to slap on the pumps should they have another IT emergency. It's nice to have an option nearby for gas. No, I was driving back to NYC from North Carolina and needed some gas before I got on that freakishly long Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel. So, I pulled into the BP here and got my gas and was back on the road in a jiffy. The place was clean, there were plenty of pumps and I was able to get in and out effortlessly. Like I said, it was a gas, baby! The only weird thing was when I was pumping gas into my rental car, this guy comes over to demonstrate some car cleaning product. I told him I didn't need it and he says "Why, you don't own a car?". And I said "No I don't. I live in New York so I take the subway everywhere. Do you want to see my Metrocard?". I don't think he believed me, so he proceeded to clean the trunk of my rental. It did look good and I told him that Budget Rental Cars would thank him. He was nice enough, though, and very handsome, but I'm still concerned that he thought I would lie about not owning a car. Don't I look honest?
