The restroom was impressively clean. We mostly bought snacks. Love the warm candied nuts like pecans. We left without exploring the entire store due to the crowded conditions. Since I was already carrying several things, I set the ranch cups and ketchup packets on top of my closed purse while heading to checkout. At the register, I handed over the food basket, ranch cups, pastries, nuts, and everything else. We spent about $75 on snacks and another $60 on fuel. Then the cashier asked, "Ma'am, are you trying to steal ketchup?" I was completely caught off guard. I have never stolen anything in my life and honestly didn't even know ketchup packets were something that had to be paid for. When she asked how many I had, I told her 3 or 4, and I immediately paid for them. There was never any argument or hesitation. It was simply an honest mistake. What made the situation upsetting was how embarrassing it felt to be accused in front of other customers. Maybe there was a sign posted near the hot food section, but I didn't pick up the food myself and never saw it. I just wish there had been a little more understanding, especially considering we had already spent well over $100 in the store. A simple explanation that the sauces were an extra charge would have gone a lot further than making me feel like I was trying to steal. I still love Buc-ee's, but I left feeling embarrassed and disappointed.

Early one Sunday going to the lake, I needed food and this was the only spot on my route. What a blessing! I picked up a breakfast taco labeled Brisket and was luckier than Charlie Bucket when he opened that last bar!! It was SO good. It was just a wonderful, large tortilla with a madly juicy and unbelievably tasty brisket. Where did this come from?? I felt like Paleo Man from the past. Just great brisket and enough to satisfy Fred Flintstone. I also got an egg and bacon, but I never imagined how big the first one was. I took a few bites to sample and the egg was great but the bacon was wimpy and limp. But I didn't care. That brisket was fantastic! So, get your gas. Go about your normal life and occasionally get a fountain drink. But if you want a mind blowing treat, return early on a weekend to get their breakfast tacos made on site.

Outside you will also find plenty of ice for sale and a clothing donation dropbox and propane tanks. However, there is no car wash at this location. The interior is quite small probably about 1000 ft.². Nonetheless, they do have plenty of cold beer with a few craft beer choices, and even some wine. We didn't pack particularly well and found out we needed several random items. There is a 7-11 on the corner and some other gas station/convenience stores around so we were going there, when I saw Tiger Fuel. It's basically an old gray quonset that isn't super appealing to the eye. The second I saw it I said to my wife "I'll bet that place has a little of everything." I was 100% right. I have never seen a store that has such a variety in inventory. Of course they have inner tubes, bathing suits, hats, and everything you could possibly think of to be on the river but they have all manner of cookware, food products, beer and wine, jewelry, grinders, knives, and a great selection of beverages. We went back the next day just to walk around and marvel at how much thought they put into stocking their store. They obviously know what people need and pay attention to their customers. At that point I saw no point in continuing a conversation with someone that had developed an attitude and already made up their mind before they ever talked to me. And paper to-go trays as usual, which I appreciate. Unfortunately, *still no labels* in the hot box so you will play the game of guess-the-fried-shapes. Most of the trays were empty, and the other two options this morning appeared to be flautas and churros. I selected two of what I hoped were taquitos/burritos. They ended up being eggrolls (insert trombone wah-wah). They were cheap and reheated well for lunch (the co-worker arrived with donuts, so I didn't dissect my mystery selection until lunchtime). I'm not asking for the ingredient list to be posted--I accept I'll die not knowing if those previous mini burritos were beef or bean or both--but even vegetarian versus not would be an improvement.
