We didn't pack particularly well and found out we needed several random items. There is a 7-11 on the corner and some other gas station/convenience stores around so we were going there, when I saw Tiger Fuel. It's basically an old gray quonset that isn't super appealing to the eye. The second I saw it I said to my wife "I'll bet that place has a little of everything." I was 100% right. I have never seen a store that has such a variety in inventory. Of course they have inner tubes, bathing suits, hats, and everything you could possibly think of to be on the river but they have all manner of cookware, food products, beer and wine, jewelry, grinders, knives, and a great selection of beverages. We went back the next day just to walk around and marvel at how much thought they put into stocking their store. They obviously know what people need and pay attention to their customers. I almost forgot to mention how friendly and helpful the store owners are too. I'm going back tomorrow just to say goodbye

Never thought much about it. Then I stumbled upon Nirvana! You know those stories of hidden treasures? Yeah, that one - not the ones where you have to work hard to achieve it, just find it. Early one Sunday going to the lake, I needed food and this was the only spot on my route. What a blessing! I picked up a breakfast taco labeled Brisket and was luckier than Charlie Bucket when he opened that last bar!! It was SO good. It was just a wonderful, large tortilla with a madly juicy and unbelievably tasty brisket. Where did this come from?? I felt like Paleo Man from the past. Just great brisket and enough to satisfy Fred Flintstone. I also got an egg and bacon, but I never imagined how big the first one was. I took a few bites to sample and the egg was great but the bacon was wimpy and limp. But I didn't care. That brisket was fantastic! So, get your gas. Go about your normal life and occasionally get a fountain drink. But if you want a mind blowing treat, return early on a weekend to get their breakfast tacos made on site.

He had his back to me and it took 3 excuse Me's before he realized someone was talking to him. I explain my 8 year old kid needs to use the restroom and someone is in the men's room not using it and watching videos (at least since we arrived but odds are longer than that) he gives me the most disrespectful tone of "uhhh ok I'm not sure what you want ME to do about it" I said "well my son has to go to the bathroom and the guy in there is watching videos so..." hoping he will go make sure the guy can hear and he goes "ok...I seriously don't know what you want me to do" you know what maybe you're not allowed to do anything but a simple "I'm sorry ma'am but I'm not allowed to disturb guests in the restroom" goes a long way I turn around and see the woman has come out so I send my husband in with my son to use the girls bathroom...then my husband has to use the restroom so we come out to the car...guess who it appears to have been in the bathroom? Another employee, and sure is funny the bathroom is free right after I leave, I bet he texted the guy telling him to come out. This is NOT how you treat customers and I hope the manager seriously tells his/her employees to be respectful or get ones that will be.

There is only two pumps to handle four cars…read more There's less than 10 spaces to park at the 7-Eleven and they do sell propane tanks, firewood, a Red Box rental and ice, which you can see on the outside. Inside they have some fresh donuts, a good coffee station and cold drink station. They also have live bait for fishing, some fishing items and an ATM. Photos included to add more insight.
