I had one of the worst customer service experiences I've encountered recently, and I feel it's…read moreimportant to share so others -- and hopefully corporate leadership -- are aware. While using the restroom, I brought in a fountain soda cup to refill afterward. Upon returning to the counter, I was approached by a staff member (who I later learned was the manager) who made a disparaging remark about my cup not being from their store. When I went to check out, he directed the cashier to void my transaction and charge me a higher price for the refill, apparently because he disapproved of the cup's brand. Setting aside the fact that this cost me less than a dollar, what stood out was the way it was handled. Rather than addressing the situation professionally or discreetly, the manager chose to make a snide comment and then use his position to override a routine transaction. This kind of behavior is unprofessional and unwelcoming, and it reflects poorly on the store's management. I won't be returning to this location. It's disappointing that a matter of fifty to seventy-five cents was treated as an opportunity to embarrass a customer rather than simply process a routine refill. I'd encourage corporate to look into how this manager interacts with customers, as this is not the kind of experience that should represent the brand.

They REFUSED to do either one and then ended up charging me for an extra day and for a cleaning fee, even though we swept the truck out. The people here are not friendly and scam people with their "cleaning fees". DO NOT DROP YOUR U-HAUL TRUCK OFF AT THIS LOCATION.

But the new owners are doing a great job and already improving on a lot of things. It's always clean, they are very nice, and they have good prices. I really like how they didn't take away allowing people to park there while boating. In fact they handle it really well and keep it running smoothly so it doesn't affect the quick stop shoppers.

It hits home when you see how large the lot is to allow for movement of the bigger vehicles. And mostly, it is kind of a given when you notice the proximity to all the distribution depots just up the road. It is really well positioned as well as it sit at the exit off of I-81. Not to mention that this is the main throughfare in the area. With it being of the truck stop caliber, this place is huge, inside and out. I like the ones that give off that vibe, it feels bigger. Higher ceilings, larger floorspace, brighter, facilities are just bigger. Giving off a welcoming atmosphere. It is a great stop during your travel. It allows for food, use of facilities, fueling up your vehicle, and a few other things. I know if I take this route on one of my many trips home, I will most likely stop here again.

It was busy, so maybe they were having trouble keeping up. Employees were kind enough. It's just off the interstate; big parking lot at a light, fairly easy to turn into. They have a drive-through for made-to-order food like sandwiches if for any reason you don't want to get out of the car. Well-stocked and good signage. Plenty good enough.

Used the truck diesel pumps due to hauling a 40ft fifth wheel. The first pump we pulled up to was…read moreout of order, with no bag on pump or cone to designate OOO, had to back up , which if you have ever used a truck diesel pump is not fun, luckily there wasn't an 18 wheeler behind us. Couldn't pull into a second pump due to big hole in pavement for that pump. Third pump worked but receipt dispenser was jammed, had to go inside. Fuel prices were lower than the TA across the street but we lost time with the inconveniences so not sure we really saved money.

We inadvertently stopped at this shell station twice. We have gift cards to shell so we always…read moresearch them out off the highway. This one states 24 hours. On the way south we stopped around 7:00 am on a Sunday morning. The pumps said "site active pause". My husband went to the store door, knocked briefly and a lady appeared. She said she had been "doing paperwork at the desk", but she'd obviously been sleeping. She did turn the pumps on. Tonight we again were looking for a shell. Traveling north, around 10:00 pm. Stopped and the pumps said the same thing. There was one car parked, assuming the employee's. We looked around and said wow this is the exact same place we stopped before. This time we didn't bother and went to the Sunoco across the street. This shell is paying someone to sleep!!!
