My experience was fine: basic Exxon, good for gas and a bathroom stop. Nothing stood out as great or terrible.

He my daughter and I went inside to buy beverages and to use the restroom and the owner, a woman dressed in a sari, singled me out and said very rudely you have to make a purchase before you can use the restrooms. I responded with I just purchased $51 in gas, isn't that a purchase? She said yes but that I didn't need to be so rude! I said I'm being rude? You just started attacking me for nothing?! I went back to stand in line for the bathroom when she the came back again and started yelling at me! She upset everyone and I told her that I was going to use the bathroom and if she wanted to call the police she could. There were young children front of me that she scared and the lady in front of us said she did it to the last lady as well. At that point I decided to go out and call the police station (not 911) to report her disturbing behavior. Like my husband said you knows how far she was willing to go. I talked to an officer who said they would go out and talk to her but I got the impression that they had received calls like this before. Needless to say we went across the street to the Cirle K to buy snacks and beverages another $25 missed out on after being so worried about me making a purchase. Side note: how did she not know I wasn't making a purchase after I had used the bathroom? With her tone and demeanor I wouldn't have! She was so worried about money that she lost a customer for life (I live in Colorado and come up to Georgetown regularly). I hope enough people report their issues with her. It's so sad in today's society people, especially those in customer service, are so mean and nasty. She actually said I don't care about my business! As she blasted me about be rude and wanting me to get out.

I initially pulled over near a different tow truck driver and asked him for help. He quoted me $980 to get to Denver and told me that was just the going rate for the area. Feeling completely defeated, I got back in my car and sat there for a minute trying to figure out what I was going to do. And then Brandon appeared -- and legitimately saved me. From the second he stopped, he was calm, collected, incredibly helpful, and so genuinely down to earth. He ended up towing me all the way to the Denver Airport so I could swap out my rental car, and the entire ride felt like talking to an old friend I'd known for years... except I had literally just met him. After such a stressful situation, Brandon genuinely restored a little of my faith in humanity. That kind of kindness sticks with you, especially when you're scared, far from home, and having a really bad day. Ryan's Recovery is absolutely spectacular. It says a lot about a company when their team is so vigilant that someone notices a stranded driver who needs help and actually stops. I'm incredibly grateful Brandon happened to come along when he did. Thank you, Brandon. You turned what could have been one of the worst parts of my trip into one of the most unexpectedly positive ones.

I am writing this review with immense gratitude and a strong desire to highlight the exceptional…read moreservice I received from Eagle Vail Towing. My recent experience wasn't just a transaction; it was a masterclass in customer care during a stressful situation, and I feel compelled to share how outstanding this company truly is. My need for a tow came at the worst possible time--during a busy weekend, with family waiting for me, and my car completely disabled on the shoulder of I-70. The anxiety and frustration were immediate. From the very first phone call, however, that anxiety began to melt away. The dispatcher who answered was calm, empathetic, and incredibly clear. She listened patiently, asked all the right questions to understand my situation and location, and provided a transparent, fair quote with no hidden-fee pressure. Her reassurance that "we'll take care of you" wasn't just a phrase; it felt like a promise. The true heroes of the story arrived right within the quoted window: the tow truck operators ( John and Sean ). I cannot overstate their professionalism. They introduced themselves warmly, immediately put out safety cones to protect the scene, and explained every step of the process to me. They treated my vehicle not as a broken piece of metal, but as my personal property, handling it with meticulous care. There was no rushing, no carelessness--just skilled, deliberate work. They even asked if I had any personal items in the car I needed to retrieve before securing it. What impressed me beyond their technical skill was their genuine kindness and demeanor. They could clearly see I was stressed, and they alleviated that not with platitudes, but with competent action and respectful conversation. They were friendly without being intrusive, professional without being cold. It transformed a potentially miserable hour into a bearable, even educational, experience. They ensured I had a safe ride and clear instructions on where my car was being taken and what the next steps were. The entire process, from the initial call to the final drop-off at the repair shop, was seamless. The billing was exactly as quoted, with a detailed, easy-to-understand receipt provided electronically. In a world where service industries often over-promise and under-deliver, Eagle Vail Towing is a shining exception. They delivered on every front: punctuality, transparency, technical expertise, and above all, human decency. I wholeheartedly recommend Eagle Vail Towing to anyone in the Vail Valley or surrounding areas. You are not just getting a tow; you are getting peace of mind. They turned my emergency into a demonstration of what excellent service looks like. Thank you to the entire team at Eagle Vail Towing--from the compassionate dispatcher to the fantastic roadside crew--for your invaluable help. You have a customer for life, and I will be singing your praises to everyone I know. Five stars are not enough!
