If I could give this specific 7-Eleven 0 stars, I would. My kids and I stopped in for a Slurpy and…read moresome other treats. While I was picking out some ice cream, my 8 year son went and tried to get himself a slurpy. He turned the handle too far to the left and the slurpy came rushing out so hard, it flipped the cup from his hand and made a big mess on the floor and counter. I looked for a sign that gave directions, and it did say to turn handle slowly (but I wish it also said to avoid turning it all the way to the left). I turned the handle slowly, but it still gave a kind of "burp" and came out to fast. The clerk on duty came over and looked really displeased. I apologized and said my son accidentally made this mess, but we couldn't figure out the Slurpy machine. He was upset and said this was the 7th time he had to clean this up today. I again explained what happened and that it was an accident. I also told him a better sign would help avoid this. We continued to pick out some other treats, and the clerk kept following me, being upset about the slurpy mess. I had troubles understanding him because of his thick accent, but eventually I figured out that he wanted me to clean it up. I was ok with cleaning it up, but then one of my sons said we should shop here again. The clerk said that we didn't need to come back. I asked, "Is this how you treat all your customers?" He continued to tell me to clean it up. I did, just to try to be a good role model for my kids. If he had cleaned up from the Slurpy machine 6 times prior to this, then maybe he should do something about that Slurpy machine or, better yet, be nicer when an 8 year old makes a mistake. My parents are locals here, and you can bet they will share my experience and tell all their friends to give their business to someone else. The customer service by the manager/owner is terrible.

I am writing this review with immense gratitude and a strong desire to highlight the exceptional…read moreservice I received from Eagle Vail Towing. My recent experience wasn't just a transaction; it was a masterclass in customer care during a stressful situation, and I feel compelled to share how outstanding this company truly is. My need for a tow came at the worst possible time--during a busy weekend, with family waiting for me, and my car completely disabled on the shoulder of I-70. The anxiety and frustration were immediate. From the very first phone call, however, that anxiety began to melt away. The dispatcher who answered was calm, empathetic, and incredibly clear. She listened patiently, asked all the right questions to understand my situation and location, and provided a transparent, fair quote with no hidden-fee pressure. Her reassurance that "we'll take care of you" wasn't just a phrase; it felt like a promise. The true heroes of the story arrived right within the quoted window: the tow truck operators ( John and Sean ). I cannot overstate their professionalism. They introduced themselves warmly, immediately put out safety cones to protect the scene, and explained every step of the process to me. They treated my vehicle not as a broken piece of metal, but as my personal property, handling it with meticulous care. There was no rushing, no carelessness--just skilled, deliberate work. They even asked if I had any personal items in the car I needed to retrieve before securing it. What impressed me beyond their technical skill was their genuine kindness and demeanor. They could clearly see I was stressed, and they alleviated that not with platitudes, but with competent action and respectful conversation. They were friendly without being intrusive, professional without being cold. It transformed a potentially miserable hour into a bearable, even educational, experience. They ensured I had a safe ride and clear instructions on where my car was being taken and what the next steps were. The entire process, from the initial call to the final drop-off at the repair shop, was seamless. The billing was exactly as quoted, with a detailed, easy-to-understand receipt provided electronically. In a world where service industries often over-promise and under-deliver, Eagle Vail Towing is a shining exception. They delivered on every front: punctuality, transparency, technical expertise, and above all, human decency. I wholeheartedly recommend Eagle Vail Towing to anyone in the Vail Valley or surrounding areas. You are not just getting a tow; you are getting peace of mind. They turned my emergency into a demonstration of what excellent service looks like. Thank you to the entire team at Eagle Vail Towing--from the compassionate dispatcher to the fantastic roadside crew--for your invaluable help. You have a customer for life, and I will be singing your praises to everyone I know. Five stars are not enough!
