I again explained what happened and that it was an accident. I also told him a better sign would help avoid this. We continued to pick out some other treats, and the clerk kept following me, being upset about the slurpy mess. I had troubles understanding him because of his thick accent, but eventually I figured out that he wanted me to clean it up. I was ok with cleaning it up, but then one of my sons said we should shop here again. The clerk said that we didn't need to come back. I asked, "Is this how you treat all your customers?" He continued to tell me to clean it up. I did, just to try to be a good role model for my kids. If he had cleaned up from the Slurpy machine 6 times prior to this, then maybe he should do something about that Slurpy machine or, better yet, be nicer when an 8 year old makes a mistake.
